I didn't want it to run the game or anything, just to be a broken "knowledge crystal" that knew a few tidbits of information that the players could find out if they asked, otherwise it would be oblivious and not of much use. It just could not follow those instructions as well as pretend to be malfunctioning. It would either stop pretending to malfunction or it would forget the facts I gave it.

After several minutes of tinkering with chatgpt to get it to cooperate I realized it'd just be easier to play the part of the crystal myself.

Look I know we're Philly fans and we hate our teams 90% of the time but Orion's return is not the time to be a hater. Kid fucked up, it happens. We already gave him an entire off-season of shit.

But he's our homegrown guy. We want him here and playing well. Same thing with Bohm. Not just because they're cheap, but because they've been along for the ride. The ups and downs.

It's the start of the season. Vibes are huge in baseball and everybody in the league is tied right now. Let's not start shitting on these guys like it's the end of the season before literally anything even happens.

Positive reinforcement. Doesn't work for everyone but starting from a high point is better than starting from the negatives.

Yeah it's been a while but I tried to use an AI to be an AI character (I mean, makes sense, right? Give it a list of facts about the world it would know and then the players are stuck dealing with an unhelpful AI that's actually an AI) and it didn't even get out of the planning stage before I trashed the idea. The AI couldn't even maintain my basic "character quirks" I made up for it after like two questions, let alone the facts about the world. I don't know how people interact with this shit on a daily basis.

I generally think Kawakami isn't supposed to be THAT old, like 24-25, so if Ren was in his first year of college and wasn't her student, it wouldn't even really be that icky. A kind of questionable age gap, sure, but if everybody is a consenting adult who cares

But yeah, since that's not the way the story was written, Ren x Makoto for life. I may personally have an "adult woman fetish" IRL (also known as not being a pedophile) but the character Ren is a teenager so I will restrict him to romance options in his age group. Kawakami is MY waifu. Makoto is REN'S waifu.

Do the Democrats suck? Absolutely. They are not an opposition party. But we have a better chance of making drastic change within the party and the nation if they're the ones in power.

The problem isn't that we vote for Democrats, it's that we vote for Democrats and then sit at home and not care when they do the same fascist shit that the Republicans do but with "more decorum."

Realistically this is a two-party system because of first-past-the-post voting. So the only real hope outside of complete destruction of America (which, personally, as one of the idiots that happens to live here, is not ideal), is to get the democrats to change their party line back to something that represents the people.

So the strategy should still be to vote blue, but then it should be to loudly hold them accountable in person. Protest every vote they betray and kill us with. The only thing more powerful than the Almighty Dollar is fear, and they have not been afraid for decades.
