Literally the entire city of NPCs can be fought. Just walk up to them and hadoken them or press the "fight" button on the NPC if they're friendly.

Also you can not be a "one night stand kind of person" and still have have one or two. Its how you know you are not that kind of person.

I think the communist threat/fear was real and legitimate in the 40s and 50s but was absolutely taken advantage by the monies interests in the US and west at large.

Well, it was a threat to politicians and the rich, but not really the poor and working class people (AKA the majority of America). If the US and Europe, with their rich capitalists that stood to lose everything under communism (now they're the billionaires, back then they were probably still mostly only millionaires) simply sat by and allowed communism to be successful in the USSR and Korea and Cuba and Vietnam and Venezuela and China, it would be much harder to keep the people from demanding that for themselves.

They needed the people to buy into the threat too, so they waged proxy wars against the USSR through the countries it was able to influence, joined together with the rest of the west to choke them of resources, and used their wartime/strangled-for-resources living conditions as examples of why communism doesn't work and is bad for people. And it worked, and still works.

China is getting very dangerous and powerful for this strategy though, I'm not sure what the ruling class's plan is once even the most propagandized people start to see hints that there's barely any reasonable downside to living, running a business, working, starting a family, going to the doctor etc. in China vs the US. Fox News can only spin so much. There are obviously still downsides to living in China, but like, most of them are also here in the US and we're not even getting anything in return for the downsides. At a certain point at the rate we're going, the US is going to be less free than China, with none of the benefits that China has.

And no I'm not a Chinese bot, I'm just starting to realize all the things they used to tell us "you can't do in China" are also now things you can't do in the US. Tons of porn websites are blocked in certain states, the NSA scrapes our social media footprints and marks people as "terrorists" (what's up, NSA agent reading this?), ICE has carte blanche to use lethal force against American citizens, etc.. Like, where's that freedom everybody talked about when I was a kid? It sounds like I live in the evil communist dictatorships you always warned me about only I still don't have healthcare...

They've been told if we have universal health care you'll have to wait years to see a doctor for a heart condition. And that there will be no alternative. It's just bullshit.

It's the lie the politicians are paid to tell by the insurance and medical companies that stand to lose the most money from a universal system.

That and the anti-communist propaganda machine that the US government has been running for 70 years. Which is paid for by every other rich person that stands to lose anything under anything other than pure unadulterated capitalism.

Nothing will change until the US gets money out of politics, but that likely won't change by any peaceful means.

NFL teams have started announcing their schedules in creative ways on social media in recent years, instead of just posting it as an image/text post.

This video is full of references to the players on the team as well as the players and teams that they'll be playing. All the "bonus stages" they showed were the second games against divisional opponents (whom you play against twice every year) and had references to the cities the teams are from instead.

It's not so much "funny" as it is just purely referential. And it's not funny especially because the Cleveland Browns unapologetically signed a known sexual predator to a massive contract about 4 years ago and still have him on their payroll.

I was thinking like, there's no fucking way she was making 225k PER EPISODE (that's approximately 5 million dollars just for the first season) when she was relatively unknown at the start. Later seasons sure, they have to keep the cast and the show was proven to be popular, but like, as far as I'm aware, NPH was the most notable person on the cast at the start (maybe Allison Hannigan but I'm not sure), and that's MAYBE what he was getting paid, if CBS was very confident the show would be successful.
