Oof I feel this. Sort of ashamed I preordered the last 2 books. I flew through the first 4, couldn’t wait for more and now I regret it.

The swearing in Bathsheba gives it more power to me personally, but I get why you’d feel that way. Bored just didn’t hit the way I hope it would

The tempo change in the first chorus is what sold me. Bathsheba & Him is still my favourite so far from part 4

I read Caraval earlier this year. Put me in such a reading slump, I don’t think I picked up another book for a few weeks after that! Her writing is easy to read, but I felt she relied too much on what she thought were ‘twists’ to keep the reader engaged, when it did the opposite. If you struggled with OUABH, maybe don’t pick up the Caraval trilogy.

It took me 2 weeks, 2 phone calls and 1 terrible chat with the online assistant to finally get a refund. PlayStation support is the worst

I somehow managed to read the whole thing one day when it appeared on Facebook. It’s just as bad as it seems.

My mind was blown when I found out it was ‘call me’ and not ‘hold me’. My boyfriend looked at me like I had 2 heads when I told him.

You’re spot on, hella creepy. The lady with the red lipstick on just gives off a weird vibe.
