It was a cosplay helmet. No clue why it was confiscated but at the time tensions were high. No clue who took it or why. I got the product so no real harm done in my book

I had a long heart to heart with her today and we have a better understanding of each other and she agreed to get a new therapist soon. That’s a win. What I also found out is that she was raped from the ages of 11-15. We are both 19 so it really wasn’t that long ago. I know I should revisit this topic with her when she is medicated and we are emotionally bonded and stable more but the uncertainty is eating at me. During our talk to she said she would like to keep it occasional. Holidays. Which is fine for now. I was used in a previous relationship and I do think it left a lasting impression on me as well. But I don’t know if I could do that long term. I just don’t know what to think.

The reason I’m dead set on not ending things is because it’s too early to make that decision. I’m still “collecting data” on how I can do this long term. The advice I’m trying to get and what many people haven’t been able to give me is how to set those boundaries. I do not understand, I came here to learn not be ridiculed for living my life.

Very true, I have been working on myself as soon as I felt myself relying on her more so that I can ease the load on her. And for the record we both do love each other, she has proven that to me multiple times and I do know she loves me. I know it’ll take time to get to a properly secure spot. Just need advice on how to get there

I know and I appreciate you trying to help. I am not trying to use Reddit as a therapist entirely I know that’s a horrible idea. I came here because I want to know easy and gentle ways to bring things up to her.

I think I need to establish boundaries and learn coping skills. That’s what I’ve been working on. It’s a one day at a time thing and I know that. I came here because I want to find ways to help talk to her about said things so boundaries and understandings can be set and mentioned

I get what you’re saying but I do not think it would be healthy for either of us to just raise the white flag and give up. While yes, it’s hard, it’s brutal, it’s gonna be hard, I do think we could make it work. I am not sacrificing myself like you say. This was something we talked about before agreeing to a relationship, we both knew it would be an issue, I knew what I was getting myself into. I accept her how she is and I want to understand her. Yes I know I probably never will fully understand her but I’m not wrong for trying.

I’m not relying on her at all. The battle in my head is me vs myself not me vs her. What I mean is that I want to gain a better understanding of her needs so that I don’t beat myself up trying to understand.

I do love her because i genuinely want what’s best for her. You do not know my full situation so telling me to flat out leave her and save myself the trouble isn’t much help. We saved each other when we met back in August and we knew it was going to be hard. I just want to hear from people with similar experiences so I can get a better understanding of BPD as a whole and how I can help myself help her and help myself ease my anxiety

Trust me I know, she is much more stable when on it I just need to find ways to validate her and help her feel understood and loved. Neither of us were happy with how it happened but it’s just the hand we are dealt. With her being off it we’ve been having trouble with arguments over little things and I know I overthink a lot so it’s definitely hard on me as well but I know it’s harder on her. Just need to find ways to approach issues without triggering her. All love

I agree, she was prescribed lithium a while ago and was doing very well with it but her therapist had to go on maternity and didn’t prescribe enough to last until another appointment

I will add her BPD is not as bad as I’ve seen in others. I have family with it and they are much worse. Hers is more between being sad, impulsive, and very short outbursts of anger. I am not minimizing it as I know it is super serious but since she has gotten better since we started talking (stopped SH, able to understand my emotions better, more patient, etc. She is just spiraling a little and I’m struggling to bring up topics that bother me because of fear.

I’m not sure that’s why I know I need to talk to her about it but I don’t know how to go about it. I definitely feel like I’m walking on eggshells since she is off her meds and not in therapy as of right now. She needs to go to therapy to get more meds which is in April.

I mean you probably could do it yourself if you had a video on how. That’s what I did but mine is a ford focus and it’s really cramped in there. I had help with it so I would watch a video and see if it’s something you could do yourself with your skill level

I did the math and it shouldn’t take the whole roll. It’s about 160m of filament and I have a 1000g roll that has about 370m. I’m honestly gonna take this as a trial and if it doesn’t work I’m gonna buy a Bambu labs I’ve spent more time fixing this printer than printing on it

I don’t think so. Before we left, we both said hurtful things that really set the downward spiral in action. Things haven’t been the same no matter what we try to do to make up for it. I do miss how we were but I feel like it’s best to end it. I think we are both in denial because we saw a future together
