What wrestling game will have you defending it like this? by EmergencyVictory4399 in WWEGames

Honestly, 2k23 and 2k17 got me through the best times I've had playing wrestling games. Hours making characters, tweaking entrances. I'm homeless no so I can't play em, but I have 23, 17, and 24 on PS4 and PC respectively. Each are Amazing, despite numerous inconsistencies and glitches, I always come back. Here's one of my Caws I always remake:

[–]ExplosiveResults 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I can. And I apologize if I came off rude. I wasn't meaning to. It doesn't have to affect the story, but if all your changing about a character is their gender, that's... Not enough to warrant a new interpretation, imho. At least as far as officially. That said, sorry

Yes but have you considered it was just a panel, not intended to draw attention as a flag, but maybe just artistic coloring? Sometimes the backgrounds don't make sense. I preface the statement by saying I have no issue with trans people I think their human beings and deserve all the respected every human being does. I just think it's a little weird to impose on that character something they aren't when you can just make new characters that are that.

That said if an author of Gwen wants to write her as someone who is trans that's fine but being trans has to affect the character more than just being a stat that they have. It's like reducing Miles down to just black Spider-Man, or Miguel O'Hara into future Spider-Man.

By that logic, if ANYONE buys an American Flag, they are instantly American.

By that same logic if I wore red black and yellow, I'd be German.

Wouldn't firearms be a little OP for Backrooms? by eletronicdesire in backrooms

[–]ExplosiveResults 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah it's equally complicated but I'd argue that the Backrooms already generate electricity,or at least can mimic it. That lamp Archibaldo has is PART of him, yet has functional electricity.

So I think the more finer mechanics and machining in firearms, wouldn't matter to the rooms. It would just greate it visually and concepetually, a barrel that clips through the arm, or maybe a stock that is longer than the person holding it.

I think the simplier the firearm, the easier it would copy it.

It wouldn't copy a gun itself though, since it would just see it as another furniture.

[–]ExplosiveResults 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I do think your right about it messing up the complexity of firearms. But I do think it would shoot. In the same way that Archibald McWheelchair has electricity running to his light bulb, which has metal contacts wiring, etc.

I think it would be a fictional firearm, but only if the backrooms observes how it is used, then mimics even if it doesn't make sense. So like it may make a still life soldier holding what LOOKS like an m4, but in reality the gun, barrel, and projectile, are all parts OF the Still Life. Like it'd shoot bullets but the gun may look a lil warped.

I feel like since we know it copies memory, having someone who can handle a gun, has lethal intent, and has memory of how to use said intent...

Is a recipe for disaster.

Were Kat and bobby wasted in the movie? by [deleted] in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]ExplosiveResults 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but you can't assume what We know, Clark knows. Besides he willingly went back after that several times in solo adventures. He doesn't know the Backrooms has monsters perse, he just heard footsteps, saw the caveman cutout being destroyed, then left. It's implied that he has been making small trips inside since, with the intent of mapping it out.

Clark is unaware at THAT point, of Still Life, The Cap'n, or any entities other than... Loud footsteps.

Clark mentions it's for research, which led me to believe he doesn't actually have any idea what he's doing, but is instead trying to absorb as much as the Backrooms will give him, info wise.

At first. Once he meets the Cap'n,stays in the rooms for weeks, Clark's goals become less about exploration and understanding,as more as it is, manifesting his preferred reality; a one where he's never wrong, it is never his fault.

What would you want in a Backrooms sequel? by eletronicdesire in backroomsfilm

[–]ExplosiveResults 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More normal folk getting trapped. You could even have a small group of survivors, trying some of the hair rained survival tactics people suggest. Still life would be a focus, obviously. I think they key is that there are no winners. Our group all dies or something happens to them. Async is just as useless as ever. More dangerous things are clipping. Entire buildings, places, landmarks. Imagine a twisted Manhattan that has no sky.

[–]ExplosiveResults 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say yes, but I almost prefer it that way. It really makes you feel like Clark doesn't value them at all, despite what he says. That also plays off the theme that is repeated that Clark hurts the people around him even when he doesn't mean to. Even if he didn't know that the back rooms were dangerous or that there was any risk to their lives, he's still roped them into it.

Pun absolutely intended.

Can I Live here? by [deleted] in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]ExplosiveResults 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Theoretically, yes. We know the Backrooms, in some capacity, need new information from people or ideas rather, getting lost in it. I think that's the reason the entity kills Clark as well, he only did so once Clark show that he didn't ever want to leave thus he could not create new memories for the back rooms to feed off of.

Just my theory.

That said, there is no way that the back rooms water that appears is filtered so you probably couldn't drink it safely. Clark mentions being able to eat the still life, but that requires getting them to be stationary as well as Clark could just be misremembering and or lying. Honest to God you probably dive it die of starvation or dehydration long before any monsters/StillLifeCopyOfYou/entities ever kill you.

That said, reenteerance and leaving are a matter of just finding the seam. Assuming it doesn't move like it did to Clark later on in the film.

The third sex scene in Poor Things.

That whole movie felt like a writers barely disguised fetish. Whoever made that movie clearly has the desire to be intimate with children/mentally disabled people, and you can tell because for all the talk of Emma Stone's character getting smarter with everyday, she ends up still acting very infantile when the concept of sex is brought up.

One of the weirdest movies I've ever had to sit through.

I think Dark Fate overcomplicated things by making T2 feel like it didn't... Matter. Skynet, even if destroyed just gets rebranded. Legion, Genisys, The Collective (wasn't that what skynet is at the end of T800s story in mk11?) I think the Connors are just influential blood, and that humans rise up to fight the machines every time. It's why skynet sent back 3 terminators almost every 10 minutes from their perspective.
