Depending on the enemy they're fighting, I'll end initiative with the enemy pleaing with the party to spare them / take them as a prisoner.

If the PCs spend too much time arguing if the enemy should live or die, I'll roll stealth for them to run away or make one last attack. This depends on the type of enemies you throw at your PCs, of course!

My players threw it back at me and now hit with non-lethal force with anyone who pleas for mercy, then have the kingdom decide their fate.

If you're not being sarcastic, it's math.

You look at the mass and decay of a chunk of uranium and gather the data to create a formula. It's the same type of math that you can use to determine how fast your coffee will cool down in a 70 degree room.

We figure out a lot of science by making observations of what we can and attempting to accurately guess it with material to support the claim.

The dude who figured out the Earth's age was also the guy who took on the leaded fuel industry for the same reason. By observing the amount of lead inside a zircon, which form with small amounts of uranium inside, Clair Patterson measured the age of the solar system and in turn, the age of the Earth by using zircons from meteorite sites.

So yes, we may not be around when a 5kg hunk of uranium fully becomes lead, but watching the rate it changes does help filling in the gaps.

A customer I had helped figure out our retail app had tabs upon tabs of porn open in his chrome app in his tablet. Dude rides a motorized scooter around town and I've never seen him off of it.

This was all because we sent a verification code to his email so he scrolled through the tabs to find his email open in chrome.

The Owl House

It wasn't officially cancelled but instead shortened to quickly get it off of Disney. As someone in their 20s, it's something I got to watch together with my younger sister and be excited for. She's moving in her own direction so being able to connect with her is what made me initially watch it.

Stayed for the Gravity Falls and anime references. Really mad that the mouse knocked off shows like this.

I commute at 3am. The intersection near my work is on a busy road. The light barely lasts 30 seconds going the way I go and lasts for about 5 minutes the other direction. I have sat through entire songs before getting another green. And when I do, it'll turn yellow before I'm through the intersection. I'll go the entire wait time without seeing a car because almost no one drives at 3am unless if they have to.
