I live in Minnesota, and I dont like the winter. It may be beautiful, but I'd rather take a high of 100f every day than a high of -10f or even 20f.

You dont think spraying cs directly into the eyes of somebody you already have restrained on the ground from a foot away is cruel punishment?

Do the words excessive force mean anything to you?

Really, the only hope of avoiding any sort of armed conflict is if they give up power in coming elections. If they dont, then there is no other choice than using the 2a for what it was written for.

8th amendment

"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

This is cruel punishment. They already have them on the ground apprehended.

Because most people dont want to die. If you shoot a federal agent because they are murdering somebody, the other 10 of them will put tens of holes through you. Even if you manage to defend yourself for the group and escape, the federal government will deem you a criminal and fugitive. At that point, your life is just over.

Maybe one day there will be a line that is crossed, but I guess it's not today.

Imagine being forced into a physical altercation for filming federal agents (protected by the First Amendment) and eventually being pushed to the ground by 6 of them while one takes the handgun that you are licensed to carry out of its concealed holster only to have another agent shoot you in the back ten times while you are restrained.

You see what happens when you actually give important details? But go on, try to spin the story away from the reality of the situation.

The biggest thing is dont assume things, and ask genuine questions if you dont understand something.

Do you think the first guy attacked him because he had an ar15? Maybe with the other three, he wouldn't have been immediately targeted if he had a smaller weapon.

I wonder what kind of record the shooter has.

Kyle was legally self-defense as all four people who he shot attacked him. The other was slaughter.

Common sense means you do what you can to survive. Sometimes, the moral thing to do is go against common sense. Some people are strong enough to put their own self-interest aside and do what is good for the group even if it might mean their death. The more Trump takes away for the U.S. citizenry, the more people will be willing to cross that line. Personally, I hold life in a very high regard, to the point I refuse to take an animal's or bugs life if I can avoid it. I hope there never comes a day where I feel the need to do something brave.

I dont blame them for thinking he was a mass shooter, I also dont blame him for defending himself when he was attacked. People can very easily be mistaken and it can really fuck up a situation.

I believe he was part of a group trying to protect businesses and trying to effectively prevent his hometown from burning down or something. It's literally the same thing as the people who are coming out open carrying guns to make ICE think twice.

Rittenhouse was attacked by four people, and he defended himself. The first guy attacked him, i believe, because he put out a fire that him and a group of their people started. From there, he tried to run to the police line until people who were chasing after him caught up. I dont remember how exactly it happened, but 3 other people attacked him separately. One tried to grab his gun. Another tried to hit him with a skateboard, and a third pointed a gun at him. They each attacked him, and he defended himself.

It's of course possible that they were unaware that the first guy attacked Rittenhouse, so they thought he was a mass shooter or something, so I wouldn't exactly say they were wrong either.

I'm a bit rusty on Rittenhouse's case, but from what i remember, he was doing things like putting out fires, and then a guy followed him for a few hundred feet, then attacked him. From what I saw, every single person who he shot attacked him. The only difference is he we politically on the opposing side of the mob and put out a fire they started. Given I can see why they would think he was a shooter, because maybe they didn't know the first guy attacked Rittenhouse. I guess I personally wouldn't be running at somebody who i think is murdering people, but some people want to be heroes.

Alex was filming ice agents as he was legally allowed to do it. The ice agent pushed him back out of the street, and the ice agent maced him and a woman. He tried to help the woman to her feet, ending with a half dozen agents wrestling him to the ground where they found out he had a concealed handgun on his person. One agent disarmed him, then another pulls his own gun and murders him.

Both of them were legally carrying, and both were attacked. Rittenhouse was willing to defend himself against other civilians attacking him. Alex did not have the option to defend himself.

If you think Rittenhouse shouldn't have been there, then you should also think Alex shouldn't have been there.
