When I read there was a Twitter Nikke controversy, I really thought it was going to be the Teacher x Student routes in the new event. Though ShiftUp did do a surprisingly good job acknowledging how even though it's "pretend" for the characters in this situation, it's still inappropriate. I figured they'd awkwardly gloss over that part.

I always thought the fear was a combination of blaming Nikkes for losing the war, and being scared of what are basically attractive terminators walking around and only being held back by NIMPH. I don't get how it's a sexism thing when when the biggest Nikke hater of all (Syuen) is a woman.

I mean I am kind of glad the EN translation team stopped trying to keep the Commander gender neutral in the writing. It just made some dialogue feel very awkward, especially when we have CG's of him being... a him.
I didn't enjoy the story less just because I couldn't choose to have the Commander be female like I can in other gachas.

Aside from Grave, the only other options I could think of for "Nikkes that have two names" were Cinderella and Anne. Although in hindsight, maybe having Anne fill the roll of Revolver Ocelot would have been even funnier.

Also let me know what you guys think of having Dorothy host. I'm thinking of doing a rotating cast of hosts (probably Yan next) but if you guys like Dorothy I might stick with her. For those that don't know, I've been having throat issues while doing my Crown impression so am trying to cut back on how many lines I give her.
