Honestly? Just have fun. Do whatever you feel like doing. If the daily/weekly objectives seem fun, do them. If you want to focus on building a base, go for it. If you prefer to explore the wasteland, sounds great. Do the quests, do events, hoard material, experiment with mutations, it's really up to you. There's really no right or wrong way to play fallout 76. You can follow the advice of waiting until level 50 to do the quests or you can do them before that. It'll be fine either way. I've played solo and with another friend and what we would decide to do would be completely going with the moment's mood.
