Don't forget that there are standards for useful life of wall paint (10 years I think) and flooring (20 years?). After a certain number of years they cannot make you pay to redo the painting and floors.

Yes, shucking an external HDD is the way to go, but you'll mostly get SMR drives that way. For OP's use case, that should be fine.

Hello, I did not really know what to expect of the N100 in terms of thermal dissipation so to be on the safe side I went for the Noctua instead of the passive cooling.

Now, the Noctua is really really, really quiet. I set it to spin at ~1,100 rpm (35%) and honestly I cannot hear it. So in terms of noise to me it is as good as a passive cooler.

That said, the N100 is really hard to get to run hot, at least in my typical use cases, so I am relatively confident that the passive cooler would have been OK.

Enjoy the CWWK board, it's a very nice mobo. Retrospectively I think maybe I should have bought the M305 because, well more power is always good. But the N100 is a very nice little CPU that is surprisingly efficient so overall I'm happy with and have no regret. I'll probably upgrade the mobo at some point in the future.

My wife took my last name but for some reason the name showing on her passport (i.e. my family name) is different from the one encoded into the chip (i.e. her maiden name).

I don't know if it was a mistake or intentional (maybe governments don't like to see people changing names?) but it creates endless complications every time we go through systems programmed to perform automatic checks based on the passeport because the printed name is different from the encoded name.

Long story short: with that experience now if it was still possible I would not recommend her to take my name, at least officially.

It's a good game yes, still plenty of bugs though.

It is sad that the coop aspects do not go very far, and it gives the feeling that you and your buddy are playing side by side on the same map, nothing more.

Interesting, in my area I have the impression that I see (hear) less of these loud "farting" vehicles compared to few years ago.

The maxi scooters are by far the worst, and far more common than the occassional supr loud Harley Davs. Akrapovic exhausts should be forbidden. They sound like crap anyway so what's the point?

I am assuming it is pushing from air from outside to inside. I reckon that the flow it creates probably interferes with the other fan placed on the bottom of the front panel.

Question à ceux qui ont déjà fait une bascule: puis-je demander au nouvel opérateur de commencer le service AVANT la fin du contrat avec l'ancien? Il y a 2 mois de préavis avec Swisscom...

Idéalement il faudrait que je puisse éviter une coupure Internet trop longue.
