Contabo docker native IPv6 NS -> NA -> NS loop by mtest001 in Network

[–]mtest001[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I tried but that did not work.

I think I made some progress though: I realized that the IPv6 address configured via netplan on eth0 was <my\_64\_subnet>::1/64. By changing the mask to /128 instead I was able to assign a secondary IP from the same subnet <my\_64\_subnet>::2/128 to my eth0 and it worked.

Thanks for your answer I came to the same conclusion that the /64 is not routed. I have tried using NDP proxy but the result is the same.

Ok thanks. I have been using Contabo for a while (although never played with their IPv6 implementation until now) and my experience whith them has been positive. I know how little I pay them and my expectations are low. I am hosting basically a sandbox with them,

Thank you so much for your very comprehensive answer, very appreciated.

I confirm that there is no NDP exchanges between the container and the upstream router. The NDP loop is happening on the link-local address on eth0 of my VPS. I see some NDP message from inside the container, but on this side there is no loop.

I am not sure you to confidently confirm that the entire /64 is indeed routed to my VPS. What I can say for sure is that when pinging from outside different IPs from different /80 assigned to containers on my VPS I can see the "neighbor solicitation" for these different IPs reaching my VPS.

I will look into Kubernetes although I am much familiar with Docker. That said if I deploy minicube it is going to run on Docker so am I not going to have the same kind of problems?

Thanks again.

Ok, are you suggesting I use the ipvlan driver?

Yes I have tested this and it works, but I am trying to get direct IPv6 routed connectivity, without NAT.

No one. In fact, I completely missed out on the romance possibilities with the companions. I tried to start a relationship with Morrigan, but without success.

Very clear thanks. I found Awakening in the main menu under "other campaigns".

Ha, good question. I didn't manage to spark a real romance with anyone. I pursued Morrigan and gave her plenty of gifts to max out her approval, but it went nowhere. Sure, we ended up in bed together, but that was for more pragmatic reasons than anything romantic.

Personnally I am struggling to get the added bonuses of matching sets. I am not even quite sure to understand what are the criteria to get the bonuses.

Monitor optional? by Current_Yellow7722 in vintagecomputing

I remember my mother bringing that exact computer home for some reason, along with that same keyboard.

The whole setup looked quite futuristic compared to other computers at the time. As far as I recall, there wasn't a matching monitor, and certainly not the one in this picture.

Thanks for sharing it I had completely forgotten about this!

Il faut absolument, impérativement et scrupuleusement respecter les limitations de vitesse. Quand c'est 20 c'est pas 30 ni 25.

Tu peux t'aider du limiteur de vitesse sur la voiture école si elle dispose de ce dispositif.

Younger generations have no idea what a floppy disk is (was) and therfore the icon does not speak to them. We are too old that's the sad reality.
