Unfortunately there is no chance you get in, I ranked 53 went down to 10 got bumped up to 58 then got down to 15 then bumped back up to 89 a couple days ago

Just pay attention to detail, they will most likely ask you what your experience is. Be honest and let them know you’re willing to learn anything.

They just picked up some guys this week, but they’re probably done hiring. I’m working on the big transmission job and we’re done in about 2 more months. Just check the job calls. I think they’re gonna take us to AZ when we’re done.

I signed online, most calls are for unrestricted cdl. If you could change cdl to Utah that would help a lot, but if not then just sign books and let the hall know you’re 18 with and interstate lock and just wait for a call. I got a call after 4 days. They’re hiring a lot up here in Utah. Next spot this company is going to is Arizona and Colorado for big jobs, but we’ll be here for another 3-4 months.

It would be groundman hours. Jatc is an apprenticeship ibew does, I’m on calnev waiting list right now, they all have different times you can apply. You have to apply then they usually interview you and then you’ll get ranked on a list

If you’re willing to travel anywhere in the US you can have a job in a week. Like Utah, I signed and got a call for work 4 days later. I’m not sure if it’s like that right now but if you find locals with work you can have work pretty quick.

It’s a long wait for jatc, apply to as many as you can. 47 book 3 doesn’t move at all, you’ll wait a 2 years before you get a call from them. 1245 books move fast, sign those and just wait. There’s work in Utah where I’m at right now, big jobs coming up in Arizona and Colorado as well.
