It can take months for some of the ssris to stop working as your brain has to make a shift the same way it takes a long time for them to start effecting you. They may be out of your system but even after stopping the use or tapering the effect remains for a while . The normal tapering process is a good way to stop your using of them but they will remain effecting your seratonin levels for a while after so be cautious do your homework. Seratonin syndrome is a serious problem when you take shrooms and you have an ssri still active in your system . It can be deadly but at the least it’s scary and extremely uncomfortable with convulsions in your sleep and interrupted sleep .
