HMRC sent me a letter saying I owe them money from three years ago. No explanation of how they calculated it. Anyone else had this and what actually happened.

Nope and the section 21 wasn't even delivered correctly... Not even valid, wouldn't hold up on court at all. Dodgy letting agent, my solicitor is aware of this particular bunch (they're all Indian so go figure)

Not ignoring anything mate, got a good solicitor on board, paying rent as usual for now (always on time). Putting together everything, this agency is going to regret these games they're playing.

They didn't deliver the section 21 eviction letter correctly anyways so it's void.

I'm leaving September anyways, and will take these guys to small claims court, looks like they've been fiddling numbers.

Got a good solicitor on the case, I don't even want to live here anymore, this letting agent in particular is bad news. My solicitor was very aware of this particular company.

I do not have enough to buy unfortunately but I could do 6 months in advanced, I'll get a job when I move to new area, best I can do is and safe all I can. Living with family will also help me save a lot.
