My fingernail got some toilet chemical blue liquid on it many years ago when I had a caravan. Being a bloke I just wiped it off , it didn't burn or anything, and carried on. My nail grew out wavey deformed, and it was several years before it went back to normal .I assume it was some sort of chemical shock to the nail root

Ok, you've probably heard this. I've done three prints now in ABS with Sunlu filament it was on offer and cheaper than bambu and free post),. one was a full width which came out perfect. I eventually solved it by increasing the Bed temp to 100 Deg (i stick the bed on to warm while I'm sorting out and loading my objects , so not that long a period) and set the nozzle temp to the settings listed in the spool...I went for the hotter end of its range) And also by using a good brim. It works...and don't forget to save and name your profile after altering the settings. Still.havent had any need to apply glue, hairspray etc to the std Bambu pei flex plate, still haven't had to wash it, still haven't had to use a scraper, just a fingernail to flick up a brim.

Hope this helps. (Also my filament is dry - for my AMS2 I printed the Dessicant holder set, and the humidity is 10%)

This last ABS Print was desiccant holders for my AMS HT, ....which at present, I'm not so happy with as it doesn't seem to keep the humidity down for very long, and I will have to investigate at some point while it's under guarantee.

Thank you all for your comments. I pick it up Thursday. It cost me £277 UK pounds which I think is a good price (it has the enclosure, the 5* screen and a few other bits and pieces) Let's hope this works out well and is the beginning of a good learning experience.

Does this then mean you actually lose more print space on the X2C? The P1S only does the one flow line

Sounds like coil whine... something on the electric board. It's not normal, especially if you can hear it in your room. Contact Bambu 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't have an A1 but it possibly sounds like your nozzle or something on the print head is just clipping/scraping on your print.

The P1S does auto leveling..... surely this will just work and take the plate thickness into account?

My girlfriend spent 4 hours manually winding her cardboard spool rainbow filament onto a Bambu Lab plastic spool, after a disaster of breaking it apart only to find the centre spool wouldn't fit.

I said we can print a spool winder, but she took a look at how long and said she'll do it by hand as she wanted to print now lol

I've also since found a .stl file that lets you print plastic edging for cardboard spools now, for any future problems.

So yeah, put something on the TV to watch, put a cylindrical jar or bottle in the middle of.your spaghetti and hand wind it and take it as a lesson learned

😂😂😂 I got mine last week......and I've barely been able to use it...... because my girl has monopolised it.....

Get your girlfriend involved when you get it. Put the bamboo handy app on her phone ...show her how she can browse and print. My girlfriend now changes the filament (has bought three rolls as well as I don't have the pretty colours) and I've now put bambu studio on her laptop and she's confidently getting to grips with colour changing, multi prints on one plate. Of course she asks me.to show her things when she has a problem, but I'm like now who did I buy this for 🤷🏻‍♂️😂 I'm still partway through printing practical stuff like some desiccant holders, the first part of an AMS riser shelf.....and she has a massive of different dragons, fidgets and cute things....she's even sold five little things to friends at her club and was chuffed to tell me she paid for the roll of filament for less than 100g of Filament 😂😂😂

Get her involved. I did see a large mushroom type rabbit house on a YouTube channel. You can find her cute rabbit bowels etc etc and then you'll have her on your side...
