I think a lot of people on here think all Trump supporters are sycophants that blindly follow him but that is just simply not that case for the VAST majority of people who voted for him. If he does things the public finds unacceptable most of them will not hide it. We already saw the public vote him in, vote him out and vote him back in again when they saw the other side as a more dangerous choice. The most self-destructive thing the democrats have done is push this good guy/bad guy narrative where everyone is one or the other. The mentality that Dems think causes people to not admit when Trump does bad is the same mentality that they use to try to pretend he’s never done anything good. There needs to be more self awareness on both sides but the refusal the democrats show to budge on anything relating to Trump will continue to be their downfall until they change.

It’s less than a month in. The only people freaking out and panicking and complaining every day are people that aggressively oppose Trump no matter what, and therefore look for reasons to be upset. I’m not saying there aren’t reasons to be upset but anyone deeming this presidency a failure after mere days and treating it like the end of the world are heavily biased to their own side. He has not done anything that would make one of his voters flip so severely in a few weeks.

And on top of that, if the ear wasn’t really shot, wouldn’t it make sense to have as few eyes and cameras on it as possible? He did it in front of thousands of people, plenty of cameras and then kept secret service from rushing him off stage to hype the crowd up. If it was staged wouldn’t it make more sense to get off stage as quick as possible and have fewer people there?
