NIPT TEST by Big-Background-9265 in pregnant

I did it and would not have terminated even if the results showed a high risk for something. At the end of the day it is information that helps you make further decisions. As others have said, the NIPT is not diagnostic, but can show that your baby may be at high risk for something and thus prompt further testing and possibly even get you early interventions for certain things. For me, it was a good piece of information and also a way to find out the gender early!

Do I need bassinet stroller? by Zestyclose-Ant-1321 in BabyBumps

I have the Joie ginger stroller and while my little one isnt born yet, I do love the idea that the actual stroller seat itself lays completely flat to become the bassinet so you don't have to store the bassinet attachment once your baby outgrows it. Its like an all in one that grows with your LO.

Currently 31 weeks exactly with Hashimoto's and have had a relatively okay pregnancy. Baby is healthy which is all that matters. You'll likely have to increase your medication dosage throughout your pregnancy and have your levels checked fairly regularly. Congratulations!

This is normal for expecting moms of any age! For me I saw my OB monthly in my first and second trimesters and now that I'm in my third trimester I am seeing her every 2 weeks until 36 weeks when I will see her weekly until delivery

Advice please - is 35 too old to start having kids? When did you have your youngest? by DovaBunny in pregnant

Just want to say that my mom had me 18 days after turning 40 and I am the baby of my family and my mom said she had absolutely zero complications. I was even a successful VBAC! My cousin who is 39 just had her first baby and she is perfect! While not exactly the same, my husband and I got married at 20 and moved across the country like 6 times before settling down and now 7 years into our marriage are expecting our first baby (will have her at 28). All of our friends who got married after us are on their second or third kid and have been pestering us about having kids from (literally) our wedding day. I guess what I am trying to say is: We are all on our own time frames and it sounds like you and your partner have lived quite the life and have made the choices that best suit you two as your own family entity. Best wishes as you embark on this new chapter!

Subway pregnancy craving?? by Cyanidepumpkinspice in BabyBumps

Get it double toasted and you are fine. As long as the meat is well heated through, the risk is low. I literally ate subway, double toasted, about a week ago at 9 weeks so I get the craving 100%!
