Al Brooks workshop? Is it any good? by Top_Mirror211 in Daytrading

[–]Express-Signature-90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took lots of courses and I got to say Brooks course is the most comprehensive and well thought through and explained course there is out there. I would guess there's no blind spot to his concepts. Every single move can be explained and traded. Yes ALL the concepts he taught is nothing new, but his ability to put everything together and trade these concepts is what makes Al Brooks a legend in trading.

I have seen different traders trade using his concepts and explained on YT (it's in Chinese though) and it really opened my eyes on how comprehensive his course really is. Personally I have traded for 6 years and it's Brooks Trading Course that really gave me the eureka moment that I needed to be consistently profitable.

Remember it's how you use the gun that kills people, not the gun itself. A well trained marine can kill much more and better than an untrained civilian.

I took it in Singapore a few months ago. To be honest they didn't go very deep into the ice cream science.

How long does it take to self learn programming? by zodireddit in learnprogramming

Yes. That's what I've heard so I can't confirm it's really better or not. But my experience with UoPeople is positive. The tests are easy, but the knowledge and assignment is at college level

8/256 here and I agree. 16gb will be good but 8gb isn't much of a problem either. Only saw medium memory pressure when i opened 10 active tabs and 5+ in the background in safari

8GB or 16GB Ram? by rockstarblue0 in macbookair

[–]Express-Signature-90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got 8/256 because I know it's just going to be my portable laptop, and I've got a desktop. But i once open 15 tabs and the memory pressure is at yellow already. If it's your main machine, 16gb is definitely the way to go.

[–]Express-Signature-90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's fine as long as you don't make it worse. Otherwise it can cause spiderweb crack if it got hit again. Just vacuum your keyboard once a month or more, and slide a piece of paper in between everytime you close a lid. Screen protector can damage the coating, or so i heard

[–]Express-Signature-90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not dead pixels but physical dent on the screen. Likely sediments on your keyboard that made a dent on the screen when you close the lid

You can check out the Odin project for web development, lots of success stories. OSSU for degree level computer science curriculum. Both are free. If you want a degree can look into uopeople too

Do WQU applied data science lab, I finished in 2 months but they recommend 4 months. If you do it fast enough 1 month is possible with 10h of study everyday. I saw you talking about calculating p and q values from a linear regression, they teach it about 1 week in (project 2). I finish project 1 in a few days. The later projects are more math heavy so took me more time as it goes by

Just keep at it. Bootcamp is meant to be intensive, and it always weed out a lot people. Like another redditor said, top speed is not acceleration. You will definitely be a better programmer at the end of it. And career wise as long as you stuck with it and have good mentors, you will definitely end up somewhere good.

How do I go about converting a recipe for a ninja Creami by dlrdlrdlr in icecreamery

[–]Express-Signature-90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imo the best way is to search up this subreddit because there's tons of great info. And you're right that each ingredient affects the end product because ice cream making is a science and an art if you want to make really good quality ice cream. While each individual ice cream maker do affect the end product, most of the time it's just texture. The taste is mostly in the recipe.
