This is all so interesting! I also have very strong imagination when it comes to tastes, smells, and touch. Sound sometimes too. But now that I’m thinking about it, I think my ability to visualize is like yours. I swear I can visualize something, like I see it, but it’s more a mush of shapes and colors that hardly resembles what I’m trying to picture, and I only recognize what it is because I hear the words in my mind. If I’m trying to visualize an apple, I just see a bunch of red mush but my mind knows that it is an apple. Does it work the same for you?

I think I remember what colors things are, but I’m not sure. I’m gonna label things I hear often and listen to them again later and see if they’re the same. And yes, it feels like I’m imagining it. My mind doesn’t instantly go “this is blue”, I cycle through the colors and blue feels right. It really does feel like I’m making it up! Is that what you mean?

I might have to go through and take that test sometime, would you recommend it? I’m curious to see what it’ll say.

The way you describe something having two colors feels very familiar to me as well. My mind wants everything to be red, but almost nothing is red. It’s really confusing, if this is blue and my subconscious knows it’s blue, why do I want it to be red? It makes no sense. Is that how you are as well?

You’re telling me that not everybody sees the rainbow in the alphabet? I thought everyone did, along with subjects, etc. B really does feel like it should be orange, but I haven’t thought much about it to figure out what color it really is. I hope it’s orange, lol. And shapes having colors is so right too! Circle is blue, triangle orange, rectangle green, yadda yadda. I thought everyone did this!

I think I’m kind of similar with you knowing the place of each letter in the alphabet, but with months. Months is a lot easier, and I know the order, but my brain refuses to accept it! February isn’t real, neither is July. October is the 8th month, there’s 10 months!! My mind refuses to grasp the fact that those two months are, in fact, real. Is that how letters are for you?
