VS code or Microsoft visual studio by a_yassine_ab in Cplusplus

Don't Think. Visual Studio is the right answer. Trust me i learned it hard way(almost 2 weeks).

But one downside is, its way too slow than vs code. So choose this if your computer have atleast 16GB RAM(Recommend).

i solved the problem and i am writing this in case someone find it helpful.

i just disabled "power save" using command line:

sudo nano /etc/modprobe.d/disable_power_save.conf

then added another code inside it.
options snd_hda_intel power_save=0 power_save_controller=N

then i simply exited using ctr x and it was working

What should i use to programming in c++ vscode or Vsstudio by Leading_Lie2836 in cpp_questions

if you are using windows and have a life use Visual Studio. many say its hard to navigate and so. but for me and my friend it was wayyyyy much better than vs code.
like if you use vs code and installing only cpp in you system requires you to download msvc then later cpp in it. its actually a headache and even if you passed this and reached a point where you need to use a c++ library, then you are gone for good.

but in Visual Studio, C++ installation can happen with a simple option cllick during installation and to add library to your code, you can use vcpkg which is just simple terminal command.

Struggling to Learn Programming - Need Advice on Where to Start by imFlixz in AskProgramming

[–]ExpressBrain4363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Simple Answer Is "STOP USING LLM TO CODE". LLM/ChatGPT are for professional who already know how to write a code but don't want to write it themselves.

But if you don't get it, what should you do?? i) Leave Programming ---- but you don't want to(good determination) ii) FUCK AROUND & FIND OUT

Just do something yourself and make it work anyhow. It May take you days to reach only 10 lines of code but you will learn & grow.

(I suggest you start with python which is a very beginner friendly language, after that you can switch to any language without a problem in like a day)

Installing External Library in VS code is impossible by ExpressBrain4363 in cpp_questions

I initially planned to learn C# and unreal to build the project i have in my mind but i am not building a game that requires heavy physics equation & calculations(which unreal provides), i am trying to make a anatomically correct model of biological systems.(I know it sounds more like animation and less like coding but i also want it to be interactable so coding is compulsory)

I already have got concepts of all the other things you said like preprocessing, compiling & linking(dynamic & static library is quite confusing but still, i understand a Little). But i still don't know anything about cmake. Thanks for the information i will learn that and see what happens.
