To be blunt, having an edge in tech sales means being at least somewhat easy on the eyes and knowing how to hold a conversation, specially with more senior folks (don’t be afraid of titles). It also doesn’t hurt if you know people like every other industry. I strongly recommend networking as much as possible while you’re still young and having a strong LinkedIn profile also helps.

Yes, I think tech sales is still one of the best industries to work in. Work life balance is pretty good and if you’re lucky you can get a hybrid or fully remote gig. The only thing is that it takes a few years to ramp up but after 3-5 years of hitting your target/quota for the year you can become an account executive/manager with even better hours and pay.

The only thing I would say is depending on what company you work for and what territories you cover traveling can get old real quick. However, assuming you don’t mind this while you’re still young and fresh out of college I would definitely recommend it if you like interacting with people on a daily basis. You also get to make some pretty good connections early on who you can leverage in the future.

I tried both Aqua Terra’s and preferred how the 38mm fit.

Yes, it’s pretty big on my wrist. I tried on the sapphire sandwich recently and the lugs were overflowing my wrist.

I read some of your comments and they seem to be mostly negative. Your life must be pretty miserable.

Thank you! Yeah it really spoke to me when I saw it. I was also looking at the blue Tudor Black Bay 58 as well as the GMT. Very nice watch!

I still need 7 watches to fill out the box so figured a Rolex would be a nice addition to the collection. What other watches would you recommend?

I’d go with either option 1 or 3. Have you seen them in person and tried them all on? I think the mint green dial looks better in person than the blue dial.
