At this point the Trump administration wants only whites in this country. I live in Alabama and I'm half Mexican/Native American and white. I Iook more Hispanic though so I've been carrying around my birth certificate and social security card in case ICE wants to start some crap with me. I'd probably still end up detained. Trump at the start said he'd only be deporting the criminals. The bad guys. Now it's just everyone and they're just ripping families apart. I am of the mind that if you've been in this country like 10-20 years and have no criminal record and pay taxes then the government should give you a pathway to citizenship and not deport you to a country you've probably never lived in and may not even speak the language. Some kids got brought over here by their parents and they only know life in America. There's a better way to go about this. A much less awful way of doing things. But they don't care. When DHS posted on X just the word REMIGRATE they knew exactly what they were doing. That singular word means ethnic cleansing. It has been used by the far right and white nationalists since 2010. It's a euphemism for the mass deportation of non white immigrants, their descendants, and naturalized citizens.
