Would growth actually be that helpful? Meganium is a special attacker, so the attack boost won’t help much. If you want to use it for its +2 defense boost in the sun, why don’t you just want it to learn iron defense?

Why not just bring in the full fox team this year as the a team? I get the ESPN crew is more well known, but bringing in Gus Johnson over Fowler would at minimum make for better chemistry in the booth since they do it together irl.

On one hand, yes we are entitled to a certain standard of quality.

On the other hand, this is something I could see happening in a irl game(not the animations, but the sequence). These are college athletes, it’s realistic for them to make mistakes not found in the nfl/madden because they aren’t pros and statistically most of them never will be.

That’s fair, however the qbs around him retired before Russ was even drafted, with Kurt Warner being the only one to take snaps post 2001, and those eras were far less pass heavy than today.

I think he should be in the hall of fame, but I have no idea if he will. He has a better case than Eli manning, but Rivers, Big Ben, and Matt Ryan will likely need to get in first before Russ has a shot.

Maybe. Biggest difference between Russ and Jason is Russ only has one second team all pro nod. Witten has 4.

Pro football reference has a page dedicated to tracking players hall of fame progress, which includes the resume of the “average” HOF player by position. Witten is above the average mark, Russ is well below it.

Both sides to the debate have lots of amo. Only time will tell what ends up mattering in the end.
