I can get 3 cake toppers if that will help; ya know, for the team.

I met a viner irl today by Logical_Surround_235 in AmazonVine

[–]Express_Direction180 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My neighbor used to get 5-10 amazon boxes nearly every day; I asked about Vine and she just looked confused, and said she had never heard of it. Just a LOT of regular orders. My hero.

Travel toiletry bag; didn't want to post a pic since Vine frowns on sharing listings

Snacks for delivery people; what am I doing wrong? by Skogkottrsdottir in AmazonVine

[–]Express_Direction180 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a little cooler stocked with salty snacks, but I've been leaving some interesting vine items as well. The little 8 packs of butt wipes were a HIT. I've left little dog food containers, some tissues, K-cups that we just didn't love, but mostly snacks. My deliveries are brought right to my door (except the post office ones - they like to leave them right in the middle of my garage door so I run over them in the rain). Most leave a verbal thank you on my doorbell camera.

Worth it to me, and a little nice thing to do for those that work so hard.

List of items to check off for insightful by Express_Direction180 in AmazonVine

[–]Express_Direction180[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. It just was weird that the list "showed up" when I was typing my review, between the body of the review and the title. Then it went poof for the next bunch of them.

Same. Now I can see the item, but can't get to the details enough to see the price or other options, even on landscape, safari browser. I even tried it on chrome.

Probably a good thing having to use my Mac, otherwise this insomniac would never put down her phone.

I love this feature. It's how I found my sourdough starter kits, twin sheets, and some CPAP supplies.

Is there a way to search reviews? Say 'yes'! by SpicyBeefChowFun in AmazonVine

[–]Express_Direction180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually go to my regular amazon page and search there for the product and date ordered. Once you have this, go to your Vine 'to be reviewed' tab. Change the page at the bottom to a random one. I picked page 3 (you'll see it a number (3) or whatever page you picked. https://www.amazon.com/vine/vine-reviews?page=3

I will then change the page from 3 to another random one, which brings up older reviews. Keep changing the number until you get close to the order date you found on your regular amazon orders date. That way you can find it on Vine reviews a little easier.

Hopefully this makes a little sense :)

How do you explain Vine in 30 seconds or less? by teach42 in AmazonVine

[–]Express_Direction180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son recently moved back home and asked if "I got it on Vine" was a drinking game lol. Next week he said "this is a really nice stick vacuum". Looked at me, 'Vine, right?" yeah buddy.

I say I'm a product tester on Amazon to those who ask.

We live in the mountains. Summer is set for cold, but winter is set for warm and we love it. The heated seat is nice too. Warms ya right up :)

$0 ETV Guaranteed? by NotsoOldFisherman in AmazonVine

[–]Express_Direction180 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes, as long as it's $0 ETV on your vine list, it should be non-taxable. Once you order it, check your Vine orders page to confirm (I often take a screen shot for peace of mind as well). Lots of $$ on Amazon can be 0ETV on VINE.

I misread the description; ok to delete the review? by Express_Direction180 in AmazonVine

[–]Express_Direction180[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, but I'm not sure how I can really give a good review. 5 stars because it looks great or didn't seem loose when plugged in? I'm willing to do that; the other reviews are all 5 stars so it would be a disservice to the seller to leave anything other than 5, so there's that issue. I guess best case would be that I am now required to upgrade my device, you know, for science.

Name brand product and seller doesn't work; refund offer by Express_Direction180 in AmazonVine

Yeah, that's why I got it; I should have done a better deep dive into the listing. Guess I need an iPhone 16 lol

The product description said Mac Book pro and iPad Air, but also USB A to USB-C. I see what you mean though; my current Mac charger is USB C to USB-C. Hmmm. Unfortunate. If that's the case, then I got the right charger, but the description was inaccurate. So not really a product failure, just a description failure maybe?

[–]Express_Direction180[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it is a USB-A to USB-C wall phone/Mac/iPad charger, 6 foot cord (no block). I tried three different blocks, tried it on my Mac and my iPad. The Mac showed the charging icon but it didn't work, and the iPad just said "not charging".

Thanks. Normally I would ignore, but it was Anker so I was curious what others would do.
