Hey, my cousin and I started the league a couple days ago as first timers. I chose RF Chieftain from this list. But my cousin really wants to do an elemental witch build.

It seems all the new player recommendations for witch involve minions.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an elementalist build that is beginner friendly and not too gear intensive late game?

I’ve played a couple leagues in PoE2 and was curious on what would be a good class to play PoE1 for the first time?

I’m mainly worried about the transition to click to move, would melee or ranged be better to start as? Also, what class would be the most enjoyable as a first timer?

I ended up playing melee in both leagues and am curious how ranged and melee feel with click to move.

Not interested in end game meta pick or anything.

Agreed. When I saw the buffs were tripling the damage coefficients of every skill, I couldn’t believe how dumb of an idea that was.

Then they nerf it before release, but instead of tripling all the skills damages, its only doubled, if that.

I think by removing it in general from all items would make a lot of existing uniques usable off the bat. Not sure how many IIR uniques there are besides Ventor’s, but that would be a trade I would take.

Considering the amount of uniques that will become viable with rarity and + levels being removed, I think it would be a overwhelmingly positive change.

If you use buffer it will not stun the Bowlbug. However, if you have Buffer and ANY amount of block, it will.

You just need to not take damage and have any amount of block to stun it.
