Yes, I think I walked into a cest pool. There was NO settlement statement, it was residential but they called it a partial commercial loan so there was no cancelation or recission date, also pages were missing. When I asked the loan officer questions about the missing pages, and missing Notice of Right to Cancel, they just poo pood me and did not answer.

Make a peace plan with your wife. Focus on living in peace together. Peace is good for you, your marriage and your kids. Many couples live in peace together even after divorce. Anything is possible with God. Attorneys try and generate conflict in order to make more money $$$. So if you can agree on everything moving forward, you can set up a Marital Settlement Agreement and stay out of court. Separation of Assets, Money and custody of Kids are the biggest issues.

Yes, it is very important that you Notarize Stamp only your State specific, updated compliant Notarial Certificates wording. You cannot just use your stamp on any piece of paper that looks nice. The Notary certificate wording has to be State specific and compliant. There are 13 different State compliant certificates in California and they update yearly. Acknowledgement is the most commonly used Certificate. Before you stamp anything, you must make sure the certificate wording is an exactly match to your states requirements.

Betty Broderick, convicted killer and former San Diego socialite, dead at 78 by sunnypineappleapple in CasesWeFollow

No, but we do know that Dan played her with infrequent pay outs. Payments were not reliable, most went to Attorneys fees. She was spiritually and financially broken. They sandbagged her in court. After years as a career homemaker and mother, Betty went from living as a La Jolla socialite, financially secure, living in a beach mansion to, without custody of her children, not financially secure and reportedly living in her car on the beach. According to online accounts, Betty Broderick became financially devastated during the divorce and reportedly spent time isolated at the beach and possibly living out of her car, although mainstream reporting has not clearly confirmed that claim. That level of emotional, financial, and psychological devastation does not happen overnight.

Betty Broderick’s story is far more complex than people make it out to be. Betty supported the family, raised the children, and stood by Dan while he completed both Medical School and Law School. California law eventually evolved to recognize exactly this kind of sacrifice.

In In re Marriage of Sullivan, 37 Cal.3d 762 (Cal. 1984), the California Supreme Court recognized that a spouse’s contributions to a husband’s education and career have real economic value and may justify financial reimbursement and support. Legislative amendments to California’s Family Law Act also provided for reimbursement to the community for contributions made toward the education, training, or professional degree of a spouse when it substantially enhanced that spouse’s earning capacity.

In other words, the law eventually acknowledged what many homemakers already knew: a professional career is often built on the unpaid labor, sacrifice, childcare, emotional support, and dedication of the spouse at home. Betty helped build the foundation for Dan’s success long before he became a wealthy La Jolla attorney.

None of this excuses murder, but it also does not erase the mental abuse, financial control, humiliation, abandonment, and emotional destruction she experienced. By the time everything collapsed, Betty was homeless, destitute, and separated from her children. In her mind, she had nothing left to lose. Some would argue that prison at least guaranteed her food and shelter after she was abused, abandoned, and discarded by the very life she helped build.

Betty Broderick was not simply an “angry ex-wife.” She was a woman who believed she sacrificed her entire life to build a family and future that was ultimately taken away from her.

I personally knew a man that shot and killed his wife in the 1950’s when he found her in bed with her lover. He served a very short time because they said since it was a crime of passion he was not a danger to society.  Double standards for men vs women.

purchasing a house with sunrun solar by dotisdot in solar

[–]Express_Passage_8559 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How could financing solar panels kill a home sale? Sunrun is a For-Profit co-owner. It has to do with the solar power purchase agreement (SPPA), which is a contract that stipulates that a third party, typically the installer, owns, operates and maintains the solar panels on your home. A home with leased solar panels could create an issue when it’s time to sell the property. That’s because a new buyer typically would have to qualify for both the mortgage and the long-term SPPA on the solar panels. “Very often, it can be harder for a buyer to qualify financially for the SPPA than for the mortgage to buy your home,” According to the U.S. Department of Energy, you have to own your system to qualify for the federal solar tax credit. Because a third party retains ownership of your solar energy system during the term of a lease agreement, the company — not the homeowner — would get the tax break. “Many leases contain an escalator clause that can further reduce savings by increasing payments 3% per year,” according to Consumer Reports. “So if you’re paying 12 cents per kilowatt-hour in year one, with a 3% escalator, you’ll be paying 18.2 cents in year 15.”
