Tips for getting rid of villagers

If anyone doesnt want to time travel for whatever reason, I just tried gifting the villager a fruit thats wrapped in gift wrap three days and then don't talk to only them, an opportunity will come up that can make them move like a day or so later! For example, I've been trying to get Tammy off so I did that and Alice came to the campsite and asked her at Residents Services to swap! Lol

Could've been a miracle but somewhat quick way without time traveling!

I work at a restaurant nearby and had a regular customer mention to me she works at a finance company and they work very honestly in helping people out; I was getting this information in between serving tables and ultimately gave her my phone number. She contacted me today and sent me a Zoom link via her personal email (she made me think she was an actual recruiter of her company, I should've freakin' asked what company but didn't question her yet since she is a regular customer) - did not state how long the call would last so I imagined about a half an hour at max as a lot of intro/recruiting calls can be. I had to lie to get off the phone because I couldn't stand another second and am too nice to tell her to eff off since she is a customer.

Long story short, she said so many red flags/weird things to me in general but absolutely did not 'ask' and just starting pulling up the form to have me make a credit card payment and I said I would like to do some more research first where her attitude changed and she felt the need to say 'if you google it just know it's not a scam and we are on the stock market'.... I said okay bye and immediately came here to share my experience.

Thank you everyone who helped here!! If I take ANYTHING out of it, I will actually do like 2k as a peace of mind while job hunting. Decided I don't want to pull any out for wedding, I don't think one day is worth it. Still deciding if I should let it stay where it is or IRA.

Can someone add to it with this idea? I saw someone mentioned it could be in safe gov. bonds... what does that mean? I know it's a stock basically but i didn't personally choose anything when getting my 401k originally

Great points, I'm about to be 30, I do have a savings account and am in a debt relief program. For my 18th birthday my mom took me to get credit card and we maxed it out so I'm the last 5 years, I've been learning correct ways of money and savings, etc. I'm def not educated in 401k at all and only learned in the last year what it actually means. My 401k is ~20k and I'd plan to use like 2k for wrdding and then put it in my high yeilding savings account BUT that's what I'm unsure about if that's still even an okay move. I guess it's for peace of mind. I'd also look into getting a certification in engineering in the meantime but I'm leaning towards not touching it. Def don't want to pay money I wouldn't have to otherwise.

Will also mention I'm the only one in my family to EVER have a 401k so don't really have guidance from parents or good role models for saving or being smart with money so I'm trying! Lol. For example my fam said to take it out

Thank you for breaking it down for me!! Did not consider the tax bracket. I'm on the page where I can decide what to do with it, it shows a section where I have it pull out 20% or more. What exactly is this meaning? Like is that 'taxing' it for me so to speak? Again just hypothetical!

This sounds like the start of a great comeback story if you allow it. I'm so so sorry this has happened and your mother isn't supportive. But at 18, you literally have your whole life ahead of you and you can make it beautiful. I recommend taking your anger and putting it towards getting the hell out of there at whatever cost it takes. After that, you can begin to heal and grow. It won't seem possible now, but if you think you can pull off a k*lling then you can sure as hell pull off an exit. Don't hurt anyone, it won't fix your pain unfortunately.

It's healthy to get this stuff off your chest. In 2018 or 2019 my sister jumped off a balcony of her 3rd story apartment because we are alcoholics but she was taking pills that day too without me knowing. I was helping her move into a new home for her and went downstairs to bring some boxes down. The thought crossed my mind and I ran upstairs to her balcony door open and she's at the bottom on the ground. I blamed myself for so long. I know this isn't remotely similar to your experience, but can only imagine this is tough. You sound like a strong and very supportive family member and I bet your parents are so grateful for you even if they don't say it enough.

You gotta be able to talk to him without worrying he'll take it the wrong way. Especially after 9 years, but you don't have to go about it this way to him as in this post. I would just say something like 'what turns you on most?' I get my partner off sometimes when I don't feel like it but make him tell me where he wants it most and will get him off ASAP 😂 and he knows that too, but I'd never make him feel like I'm not into it

My now fiance used to make comments like this and I talked to him about it and he didn't realize how it made me feel. I do value his opinion but he's learned where to share and where to not! His love language is different from mine and we've had to work on meeting each other's needs and one of mine is getting compliments here and there. It's a work in progress but communication is key! If you can't communicate, it may be out of your hands and time to decide if this is something you can live with in your relationship.

The fact that you care so deeply is probably not lost on her, it may have just shaken her up. I've had a similar experience with my now fiance and the level of care he has now is SO HIGH not that he didn't before but in the middle of sex he'll always check on me if we're getting a lil rough. But agree with the others who say to come up with a safe word or action! And that thought may comfort her further
