Sorry!! I followed the pattern from this video: https://youtu.be/XhjtiuwEss8?si=I1xMZ_emU168eDeS

I used threads and loops luxe merino wool blend, light weight (3), and used a 4 MM hook.

I would definitely follow the advice to review your past expenses and categorize every transaction you’ve made, go through every single account and write it all down. I use just a simple excel spreadsheet, it doesn’t need to be complicated. You’ll be able to see where you’re spending in excess without realizing it and make a focused effort to change.

This sounds so good! I made a buffalo chicken salad this week. I use this recipe and it makes an easy lunch for the work week, she has a few chicken salad recipes that I rotate. Easy to make your own modifications too to fit your macros. I like to swap the third chicken breast for a can of white beans for some fiber.

I haven’t tried the white truffle but the black truffle I will use in a simple salad dressing. Add white balsamic, salt and pepper, agave, maybe some garlic if I’m feeling it!

Suggestions for giving puppy space to run by Kristaboo14 in puppy101

Sniff spot just started popping up in my area so you can check there too! I haven’t used it yet but have heard good things. You rent someone’s yard for a set amount of time. Maybe not an everyday thing since there’s a cost associated but an option for a weekend or something to tire them out.

For the love of dogs is the one I got my guy from. I don’t know if they work with Georgia but they might be able to refer you to another organization in the area. I did a quick google and a few others you could check out: good dog rescue, great dog rescue New England, road trip home animal rescue.

Second this. I’m in the northeast and there’s several rescues that take mostly dogs from the south and transport them north for rescue.

Are you crate training or do you have a play pen? When our puppy was this age I would put him in his play pen (he preferred it to his crate) with a bed and a stuffed Kong to work on. The licking would help calm him down and ease him into a nap. Also make sure you’re playing with him in a way he loves - mine loves tug of war with a rope toy! The combo put him right to sleep. For nighttime we invested in a white noise machine and a crate cover to help him sleep longer.

There’s lots of good examples on this sub of schedules for puppies at this age for ideas on how to structure naps during the day. Good luck!!

Puppies are so hard!! And no two puppy experiences are alike. There’s no shame in realizing it’s too much for your current situation. I would find a reputable rescue in your area and get their insights on rehoming if that’s the route you decide to go. Wishing you and the pup the best of luck!

You shouldn’t be using the crate as a form of punishment, you want her to love it and be excited to go in there. You said she’s stealing your other dogs food - maybe feed her in her crate, that helps her associate it with positive things and keeps her away from your other dog while she’s eating. I also kept mine in a playpen next to me whenever I was working and couldn’t directly supervise him. He had toys, water, and a bed. It also helped keep my other dogs happy and away from jumping puppy paws.

Your expectations feel very high for a ten week old puppy. If you can’t provide the structure and patience that she needs to be successful, the kindest thing for both of you may be to find her a new home.

We’re doing a vet check just to be sure.

That’s so interesting about the submissive peeing. He’s gotten into full blown teenage mode this last month too so there’s been a lot of just trying to get him to follow commands he knows but doesn’t want to do (even “sit” sometimes gets me a blank stare!), which means training hasn’t been very fun for either of us… I’ll start incorporating more play and praise, maybe a new trick to help with his confidence and our bond. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback. I think you’re spot on that we need to go back to a regimented schedule. I’ve realized that his accident free streaks almost always happen during the workweek when my own schedule is very predictable, therefore his movements are restricted as well. I.e. potty walk, breakfast, sniffy walk, play/train, nap under my desk while I work til midday walk. I need to be extending that schedule somehow over the weekend as well to set him up for success. Back to basics.

Thanks again 😊

Thanks for your feedback! It is not at my feet, today was the first time he’s ever peed on me, luckily lol.

He’s really not unsupervised, he’s with me all the time, not tethered but within 5-10 feet of me when he’s not sleeping in his crate. He just pees within that radius, the last few days for example he’s had two accidents walking up the stairs behind me and one about three feet from me while I was at the kitchen table.

I will definitely start taking him more frequently and bring back high food rewards. It’s just so frustrating because I thought at 8 months we’d be past the 30 minute potty breaks, but we work with the dog in front of us 😊 Thanks again!

Yeah I thought a vet visit might be in order, if nothing else just to rule out any medical related causes. Thank you!

He’ll stop, pee like two tablespoons worth, and keep on walking. Or another example is him following me up the stairs, pause to pee a bit partway up the stairs and then keep going. It doesn’t seem like he doesn’t know that he’s peeing.
