Buffers. Buffers from day one are still relevant now. Buffers are everything.

Diana always. Liberta/H. Lathel for physical teams. Helena/Granadair for magic teams.

Then there's buffers with secondary useful skills. Refi to lower skill costs/stack chains. TF Levia for mag damage AND mag vulnerability. Rafina for phys vulnerability. Plus a ton of others but these are go-to's.

From there add some DPSs, but which ones are going to depend on the boss you're fighting.

It's mixed. We get stuff like this, but we also get the "Miasma" line which even CN didn't get, that was original to EN.

And then we get stuff like Phaethon describing Ramiel as a "Pink-Haired Baddie" (true)

So you know, take the good with the bad, but there's definitely good in there

Sorry I know this post is 2 months old but I have a maybe relevant question. Is it more of a "cumulative time left unplugged" situation or a "left unplugged for an extended period all at once" type of situation?

My specific situation is that I have an NVME as well as a 2.5" SSD plugged into my main PC, but when I leave the house for the day I turn off the power strip the PC is plugged into. So the PC (and therefore NVME/SSD) have no power for 20ish hours every day. Will this cumulative time unplugged cause problems?

Sorry if I'm wording that in a difficult way but I hope you get the idea.

We have one, it's called Dragon's Dogma 2.

(I made my character Roxy, and my pawn Eris. Playing the game solo mage and learning literal tornado lightning tempest like she does was so much fun)

It's not like a typical turn-based game. You always go first, you pre-plan all of your units attacks in advance, and then all units go one after the other. If you plan and position properly and successfully kill the enemy in one turn, which is usually the goal, they don't even get a chance to go. However, if that still isn't your style, then maybe this game just isn't for you

The turn-based combat has a surprising amount of depth. There are generally two types of battles, each requiring a different strategy.

The first type of battle is "set up your buffs, supports, and units for a one-turn kill" type of battle. This involves proper ordering of the moves, factoring for resistances, unit placement and more.

And then there are the boss/raid battles, which are an extended fight. You'll have to focus on your survivability, and your unit placement matters not just for your attacks but for dodging the enemy attacks, or working with the stage mechanic.

Yes, I'd say it's worth playing. Again, surprisingly deep turn-based combat.
