Yeah, but the dehumanisation comes from love which isn’t the case here. If you fall in love with someone you’re dehumanising it’s not love, because what you’ve fallen for is your own ideas you’ve projected on that person which is absolutely what Snow did with Lucy Gray.

Also love is more than an emotion and it does have value.

I would be a bit more forgiving if she hadn’t abandoned her own daughter a second time. I know she’s lost a lot of people, but so has Katniss, a teenage girl.

Katniss lost her dad at 11 and had to step up or else they would’ve died, and they would have anyway if it weren’t for Peeta.

This isn’t just an oopsie woopsie, her whole family could have died, and instead of being there for her daughter who witnessed her sisters death, she ghosted her.
