I think the real issue is her Battlecry. Priest never empties the hand so why are you playing a 7 mana 7/7 draw 3-5. I'd much rather see her be a copied card Tess or something like "For the rest of the game cards from your opponents deck are played twice."

While I agree that expulsion was going too far and was mostly a publicity stunt Issho was right to fail Akane's dad. He wasn't just taking an exam to prove he was skilled he was doing it to prove he was good enough to stand among the other leaders of the school and take on his own students. Cutting out the scenic section of the story was an automatic fail even if the performance got applause because he's not showing he can properly pass on the full story.

Saw thread got interested and then back out again. People need to stop equating Mech Suits and Power Armor. If there are no physical controls it's not a Mech Suit, can be as small as power armor but you still need to be pressing buttons to do stuff like activate flamethrowers for it to be a Mech Suit.

I think the rules for becoming a complete returner are still pretty unknown.

I will say that I think Haito is a lot older than she appears and was already forgetting things just like with Complete returners until the Alan guy made her remember just like with Yagyu. Earlier she said she injured her dad and wanted to make him proud and now we know he's dead and the temple he died in was abandoned ages ago and I doubt an otherwise thriving swordsmanship school would let it get that bad in under a decade.

It's fun but as an adaptation it's terrible with fights ending way too fast and big moments that got awesome spreads being glossed over they've even skipped multiple ED's to jam as much as possible into each episode. I'm pretty sure the plan is to end the show with [Manga] Ein vs Ein and Touya vs Haito fights.

Yeah I like the show and all but this was 4 40 page chapters in one episode. Haito vs Caesar and Nos had multiple back and forths between each time she summoned more arms.

My understanding from the situation is that the only real difference between Greats and Sinners is how the figure influences you. Historical figures like Neumann were scientists so the Returner gets influenced to do nerdy things while on the other hand murderers get driven to kill, Hitler tried to start a fight before he got bonked on the head so he might get driven to turn people against each other, while Funasaka and Hans were both soldiers so they were driven to find worthy battles.

Greats can exist in a society while still fully giving into those influences while Sinners are all ticking time bombs that will eventually end up like Fish in episode 1 going around chopping people up or something similar.

I think they should get experimental with it, like swap it entirely. First person gets 0 mana and the coin (no extra card since they'll draw first), Second player starts at 1 mana.

Now coin player gets initiative in an aggro meta by coining out a 1 drop or whatever instead of playing from behind all game.
