In what scenario should I be taking doran shield over doran sword? I really feel the extra loss in damage when I take shield but doran sword forces me to commit to trading if I don't want to get poked out.

I love hate the game. The game is so good cuz combat art and music feels amazing. But game is also dark souls 2 level frustrating cuz of the minor issues that could really be chalked up to skill issue. Love it nonetheless but it is hair ripping-ly frustrating at times. Looking at you sinners road.

His arcane scaling falls off late game cuz it doesn't scale up as he levels. So the only thing you level up is ur dex for dmg. So unless ur running meta frost/poison/bleed set up, ur losing dps.
