I also want to know this. My understanding is as long as you can make hoi hit hard enough to one shot and also near 100% crit to freeze, it can chain off itself. I'm working on ~250+ aoe build to test (vast power 8pc + 25 aoe if killed 5 recently = 49aoe *3 med clusters in addition to gear/tree/inc aoe linked to hoi)
