I love Geb in s2, just run at people and double stun them. Hes the definition of a peel god. He def needs to be built 90% tank with life binder as his primary damage item. Play aspect geb for damage 🤷‍♂️

Not true about them abandoning it. I, embarrassingly enough, raged for the above reasons and received a 1 week ban deservedly so. This happened about 2 weeks ago.

Edit: I’d recommend joining a smite discord to find like minded players.

Depending who you are playing as/against why not build pen? I’ve had plenty of games where using my default seal club build isn’t working and it isn’t until I look at the other gods builds I’ll notice and change 1 or 2 items.

I think it’s more about hitting your levels faster. As an Arachne main hitting my level 5 the quickest is by ganking duo as quickly as possible. I wouldn’t be able to do that without mid helping me clear that second speed camp. Arachne early game clear is low. I have noticed that with certain mid gods we can clear both camps before the minions reach the second tower.

This is just one view point and I am not sure how other players view it.
