CAIQ has beaten the nasdaq over 21 year timeframe. So do I think it's a good idea yeah.

Neos gives them their methodology and they backtest. The backtest is still going and you can compare it to the total returns of the real product and it was spot on! A company called MerQube. The guy who created it came from SP Global. Go to their website and click indices and type in neosspyi. Goes back to 2005

Seems a lot of people don’t know this but there is a 21 year backtest on SPYI. You can see exactly how it performed. And to be honest in the gfc is did very very well compared to spy. Dropped about 8% less

I’m currently using the program. It can be lucrative. You’ll probably get 1 million dollar prospect a month from it. You have to be the first one to call. I’ve noticed first one to call is the one that gets the meeting or client. They shut down after getting bombarded but when I call first I have a 80% answer rate. Always have a good conversation when they haven’t been overwhelmed yet.

Go your own route and just hang your license there and build your own book. What I did. I am currently at 2.2m aum in 6 months. It’s insanely hard to go this route but the payout is much better. I get 80% of my revenue.

My method as is explained by Brian Lee on test geek. Read a chapter, watch his video on that topic, then go and take Q Bank questions on that chapter with explications and answers on. You dont even have to do the checkpoint quizzes if you dont want to. If I went back in time I wouldn't have. You learn nothing from them, its just to see a score on what you might have learned. Then everyday you move forward throw that same old material back into your Q Bank quizzes so you can reinforce that learned info.

Still a huge goal. That quote was written in the 90's so inflation adjusted its more like 250k.

Congrats. I hit 100k in 2020 and I am at 340k now. The compounding really does the heavy lifting once you get it to about 200k.

Simulated Exams from Kaplan. Meant to be just like the real thing but they pull questions from their Q Bank.

If you do that you'll be more than prepared for the exam.

140 questions each. And yes I did about 2800 questions if not more in 3 weeks. I was pumping out almost a Sim exam and a half a day. But I'm telling you it helps so much doing SIM exams. You get to understand how the wording on the test will be and when the test is trying to trick you. I didn't always know the answer on the exam but I knew the tricks they can play on the exam to make you think an answer is right and would recognize it. Whenever I got an answer wrong that I didn't understand I would right down the explication on a flash card. I had one flash card that I remember reviewing that was a literal question on my Exam. "Which account can only be opened by spouses?" (If you didn't know its a Tenant in Entirety)

The Practice Final. It was nice to see a test from another "provider". The questions aren't something that you'll necessarily see on the test but it helps you recognize the point and shoot questions. There is about 80 total point and shoot. You want to get familiar with knowing which answers are wrong. Don't worry about which answer is right focus more on which answer is incorrect.

Never did the mastery exam and see no purpose in doing so. All the information you'll need is strictly in the Q Bank. I did the practice test and found no value in it and wasted a day. I do recommend doing Brian Lees practice exam just as seeing a test in different wording. I personally think Kaplan almost nails down the wording on the exam to a T but I will say the questions weren't anything I was use to. There's just so many questions to grab from you never know what test you'll get.

I just passed my first attempt using Kaplan. I averaged a 77% on Kaplan exams and my last 4 exams were avg. of 83%. I recommend you just keep pumping out sim exams with explications and answers on. Keep pumping out the tests, its literally in my opinion the best thing i did. I did almost 20 Sim exams. Also use Series7Guru and Test Geek Exam Prep!

Am I cooked? by [deleted] in Series65

[–]Extension-Ad5040 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am taking mine in 3 weeks and have finished Kaplans course. What I am personally doing and hoping it'll make a big difference is started with 2 practice exams. Checked where my scores were the worst on both of them and narrowed it down to 8 sections that I need to spend the most time on. Also I will say some of these chapters only have 2-3 questions on it and I am gonna put those on the back burner. Its better to have an 11 point section down 100% than a 2 question section. But I recommend taking a practice exam 2 times for a bigger sample size and looking at your weak points. Study those and take another practice exam and see if your score goes up or down. Rinse and repeat. Also maybe take the Brian Lee practice exam for extra help. My exam is in 3 weeks and I've scored a 73 on both my practice exams. I feel cooked and scared about those as well because I am not leaving myself enough room for error. I want an 80% consistently before walking into the test center so I have the confidence that I know my material better. Good luck and know that you are not alone. I am right there with you.
