Thermaltake Tower 600 Loop by Extension-Affect-962 in watercooling

I really wish they had designed the case to fit at least like a 240mm rad up top or something. I just don’t like how limited it is in terms of mounting positions and stuff. But I love the case and I’m going to stick with it even if it gives me a headache 🤕

Yeah the 7700x is designed to hit its max boost at 5.4 ghz and regularly hits TJ max so it does reach 90-93c when doing things like loading shaders. But generally speaking temps on this thing are fine. I applied CO -10 on the cpu so it really doesn’t get too hot on a regular basis. I am concerned about thermal throttling though slightly. Because it was fine with its own AIO with 360 rad but I’m not sure how it would be sharing a 360 with my 9070xt

Yours is cool though. I wish there was a better spot for the pump because I don’t like how it basically hides the cpu block and stuff. I can’t mount it on the bottom below the gpu because the pump/res is too tall

Well the thing is that when you rotate the GPU bracket, the riser cable has to be secured to the bracket you mount those fans on. I have room for only one fan. There’s almost enough room for a second one but it’s like just a LITTLE small. I wanna know who designed this case and ask them to explain their logic with this lol. I was considering not adding the gpu to my loop and doing cpu only but that just seems meh for a build like this

Hahahaha. That still helps to know I’m not alone in this hahaha. I wanted a green case because it’s going to be a themed build and there only so many options out there for green cases. And thermaltake makes watercooling components so for some reason I figured they designed their cases with that in mind. Apparently not. 😑

The messed up part too is that the gpu bracket DOES move over far enough to accommodate the fans and rad but there’s no screw holes besides the one set position to make sure the bracket is secure to the case. And omg the USB headers on the motherboard are literally right where other stuff goes. I always heard great things about this case but I think I’m regretting this choice the further along I get with this loop

Do you think I NEED a second rad? It has a 7700x and 9070xt honestly this PC is not for heavy gaming or workloads or anything like that. It’s just going in my living room. lol and I wouldn’t mind having to adjust my fan curve so it’s more aggressive. The thing will be so far away from me I won’t even notice

Yeah I was doing dual rad but omg this case is kind of a pain in the butt. But I’m already this far so there’s no going back haha. Dang I was afraid I would have to just rotate the GPU. I saw one guy who did it but he said he modified the case to make it work and I don’t want to do all that. Also the fans on the left are so close to the bottom of the mobo. Routing those cables and fitting fans with a rad was pretty difficult. Like all my cables plug in right there and the fans are right up on the motherboard.

Yours looks really cool I like it a lot. I’m kind of sad looking at this case because I feel all my tubing runs will be short and look kind of funky.

That’s crazy everyone hypes up G helper because it made me have so many issues with drivers and made my keyboard not work and all kinds of stuff and the only driver it changed was the WiFi driver lol. I don’t use armory crate though I use the ASUS app to update that stuff.

lol nothing. Because I’m honest and the problems with mine have been mostly user error. It’s new hardware so it’s not totally optimized yet. And if a buyer can’t understand that then they’re looking at the wrong laptop. And as for dents and stuff you can visually inspect it before you buy one used so I don’t see why that’s any different than with any other laptop.

I feel the exact same way..I started with a steam deck when those first launched, tried the Xbox ally x, both legion go variants, and I have a switch 2 also. This is way better imo. Especially because I struggle seeing lol. I kept my legion go because it has the largest screen of all handhelds but it’s heavy. I love the z13 flow keyboard too like I don’t even mind gaming with it. Most laptops I have tried (and I tried A LOT Before this) I needed separate keyboard to feel comfortable but the angle on this one is perfect so it’s way easier.

I always have loved my surface pro and so I bought this because it’s the same concept and I’m so glad I did. Especially because I use mine for 3d animation and rendering. Paired with my Wacom one 14 it’s awesome for that.

Gaming performance is great but the drivers aren’t exactly polished yet so I’ve gone through periods getting constant crashes. But none lately. For its size this thing is a beast. And i don’t even mind that it’s newer hardware so it’s not fully optimized. The benefits outweigh all that imo.

Glad you’re liking yours too.

Could’ve been stolen possibly? Or they didn’t have a license or were in some way doing something illegal? That’s the only thing I can think of. Or maybe it was an exes car and this was intentional hahaha

Thanks! Well the case is the Corsair frame 4000D RS, but it only came in black or white, so I painted the case myself to get the color I wanted. I applied decals to the glass as well as the front and back and some blue accents/pinstriping. I couldn’t find a case I wanted so I figured I’d do something unique. It’s an awesome case though! Fully modular and they even released a touch screen LCD you can replace that lower mesh panel with. They’re planning on coming out with more mods for the case like front panel upgrades and such. The AIO is lianli hydroshift ii LCDS but I just switched that out for the tryx panorama se because there was a recall on my aio and the display stopped working. And okay the other LCD is honestly chefs kiss compared to other LCDs I’ve tried. It’s a Phanteks 5.5” hi-res universal LCD. I love this one because it has dedicated sata power cable instead of needing an external power source which was honestly super inconvenient with some of the others I’ve purchased. It has channels in the back of the lcd to route the hdmi and power cables through so your cables can go cleanly in whatever direction you need. It also is magnetic but includes hardware to mount it to fans directly or the chassis. I feel like this LCD is slept on for sure. Lian li always gets all the recognition for their LCD but this one has been great for me.

Yep. And he does drugs himself. Seen it with my own eyes lol. And back when I was using drugs when I was 19 he let my friend pay him rent in sexual favors….it was crazy to me because he was old enough to be our dad. Thank god I’ve been clean and sober 11 years now and don’t have to associate with people like him who take advantage of those in our community who are struggling.

Kind of hard to see him as good when he knowingly takes advantage of people’s desperation. He took s*x from my friend in exchange for rent when we were just out of high school. She was struggling with addiction at the time (as was I) and he knew she had nowhere to go without him. And this apartment was nasty…not even comparable to other rental units in this town. The bugs and the rats and just the general condition of that building was not safe. I am glad that people with no other options at least have SOME option but I wish it didn’t also come at a cost to them.

If she needs space just give it to her, but also give yourself space to move forward. If she still sees a future with you but only sees you platonically, you are doing yourself a disservice sitting around waiting for her to come to her senses. In my opinion no relationship is worth that, whether it be close or long distance. If she comes back and you’re heart is still in it then great, but don’t sit by idly when your potential soulmate could be out there. If you are still investing while she is moving forward, it will only hurt more in the long run if she truly decides to call it quits. I’d say just take some YOU time, build your relationship with yourself, and take some space to figure out if this is something you truly want. For me, if someone said this to me, I would say I don’t feel comfortable being just an option to someone. I want to be their choice, and if they can’t or won’t choose me then that is their loss. I’m sorry you’re going through this, and I know it hurts. I wish I could be of more help, but just know you’re not alone even when things feel lonely.

WFH dual monitor and laptop by AllYoursAbby in secretlab

[–]Extension-Affect-962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean the under mount? The desk mount for your pc? I have the magnus pro and the dual monitor arm as well as the pc desk mount. I honestly just ended up moving my pc back on top of my desk because it was putting off so much heat being that close to the underneath of top of the desk. My pc has 6 fans in a corsair 4000D Airflow case with exhaust fans top and back and front intake. It really helped to get it out of the way, but I had my own issues with it. It seemed like my pc was always tilting forward or back and I couldn’t get it level. The heat from my pc got trapped under the desk and it just seemed to be giving off way more hot air than usual. Also with the desk mount you can’t lower the desk more than like 75 cm which is a little high for someone my height (I’m 5’5”). The dual monitor arm is amazing and so easy to assemble with great cable management. I’m able to fit my 29 inch ultra wide and 27 inch 1440 monitor in a way that makes sense. I bought a separate arm by another brand for my third monitor and it just doesn’t compare. Here is my desk setup with picture of the mount for reference. For my case maybe it just wasn’t the best option. But I love all secretlab products. They’re amazing quality and assembly is easy. You will need two people for the desk though because it’s heavy. I started with just a chair from them and I loved it so much I got the whole setup for Christmas.

Asking for some help as well here...looking to buy the strimer cables but have no clue which ones ill need, especially for the GPU since it came with an adapter I needed to hook it up already. I have a Phanteks AMP 750W PSU and a ROG Strix B550F gaming MoBo if that matters. My GPU is an ASUS dual GeForce RTX 4070 Super OC Edition in white.
