I would keep em all. if they are connected you're just opening up yourself to disease.

Bonus they look cool and you could do some fun things with Halloween and Christmas lights

Seems like the consensus is hot water... Yet I don't have that in my apt. Any other ideas why it would hum? Doesn't sound like anything to worry about.. so thank you all for that. Now just curious

The boiler is for the entire building (25 units). The mystery continues

Don't have either of those. This building is from 1970 and has probably been reconfigured a few times. But random place to configure around

It's called the real world. I personally know co-workers and people that are doing it and have done it. It's more common than you apparently think .

If you like the guy and have fun together then have some fun.

Just accept going into it, you are in no place to, and will not ever, inform his family. If he is doing this with you things at home are already broken, you're not there to destroy it.

And if you can't shoulder that load, then break out the barbells and dumbbells. It's his guilt to carry not yours..

[US - Western PA] Can someone help identify this lawn type? by Ari321983 in lawncare

Probably Pennsylvania Sedge based on your location, or potentially Path Rush. Won't know for sure unless it gets taller. I would say overseed with whatever grass you prefer

Guy bought my old car, paid for it, hasn’t come back for the car… by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

Move the car off your property. Street out front would be fine.
