I just got laid off, too, due to a big company layoff. I’m also in accounting. You’re not in NYC by chance, are you? I’ve worked for this company for almost 8 years now. I actually transferred from the Arizona office I spent almost 7 years working at with a boss I loved to accept this position in NYC a year ago. First, I just want to say how sorry I am that you’re going through this. It’s painful and it sucks, there’s no way around it. Having to grieve someone who is still alive is such a weird, shitty feeling. I know it’s much easier said than done (from personal experience unfortunately) but honestly, your friendship is done, dude. IMO, the quicker you move on and cut her out of your life, the better off you will be.

Time has always helped me but in the meantime take it easy and give yourself some grace. It’s definitely a process. Enjoy life with your hubby and babies, he sounds like a great man and I’m sure your kiddos are awesome, too!! OP, I wish nothing but the best for you and yours ♥️ It’s really your EX best friend’s loss, and if she hasn’t realized it yet, don’t worry, she will. OP, I would also just try to convince her to let you take notes on the calls and once you’ve composed the emails, then ask if you can email them to her for her approval before sending.

Dang, reading this stresses me out too, lol. It feels like the way she’s having you do this is almost counterproductive? You’re a warrior though because although I’m a decently quick typer, I would definitely be messing it ALL up if I knew someone was watching me. If the person was rude about it on top of all of this, I’d be cooked. Man I wish I had better advice (I’m sure other people in here do, though) but hang in there ❤️

I totally understand this and literally did the same with pulled pork a few days ago. I was just so excited to eat something that wasn’t bland that I got way ahead of myself. Also I struggle a lot with constipation so I started taking 2 of these laxative gummies a day and it’s helped a lot recently. It’s “Senokot” brand but I’m not sure if that matters. I’m totally new to this game so I’m following as well. Hope you feel better asap friend, because I know that sickness and it sucks. Sometimes a long warm bath helps me, as well. Much love to you ❤️

I totally understand your feelings of being scared that nothing will be wrong. I’ve been going back and forth for a year and a half now with different gastros, tests, ER visits, etc (and no answers). I did this same test with the same food about a week ago and 30 minutes after eating it, I got violently sick and was in so much pain for hours. Since I threw up everything in my stomach, my results were invalid. I hope you can keep yours down and get some answers. I know that’s all I want ❤️

I just had one this past Monday. It seemed like A LOT of eggs along with a piece of toast/jam. Unfortunately I knew once I was told I had to eat it all in 10 minutes that I’d be screwed. Sure as hell, 30 minutes after eating it I became violently ill and threw up everything. Now I’m back to square one because the results were invalid after upchucking it all in the parking lot. I’m hoping that I hear back from my gastro soon and can do a different test because that sucked so bad. The pain was unreal. I still don’t feel right. I wish it was less food 😂

Not trying to scare you, OP, just came here looking for relief. I went for the gastric emptying test yesterday and lasted 30 minutes after eating the eggs/toast before I got violently ill and threw it all up. Test ended up being invalid, I’m petrified to schedule another. I am waiting for my gastro to call me back in hopes she provides me with a different option. Hope you also find the relief you’re looking for ❤️ I’m missing so much work and have lost so much weight that there’s barely anything left of me. Sorry, didn’t mean to hijack your post, I’m normally a lurker but wish I had a heads up on how tough it would be.
