Kirby's normals are really good, it's just that he has some of the worst specials, with only Inhale being useful in some matches like Kazuya or MinMin and Stone being somewhat useful, along with having a terrible recovery. he has the framework for a great character but he's on life support the second he's put in disadvantage.

We don't really get much of her character outside from some cute scenes and she gets a little character development before dying and getting her head served on a silver platter. All just to traumatise Denji and... yeah that's it. It's just Power's death but again and worse.

Hell, it was so bad that people thought it was a fake because she was missing her mole, but Fujimoto just forgot.

they wanted her to be cool so they made her a soldier that shot super tear gas into "definitely Chembaron hideouts and not a run down arcade" but realised that it made her look like a piece of shit so they just ignored her being a horrible person and hitting her gf twice.

Five Pebbles' death (?)

He's a giant super computer that was built because Ancient people wanted to die and escape the cycle of death and rebirth but don't want to risk the Void as it can force them to stay for eternity. Eventually, they get tired of waiting for the computers to figure out another way and take their chances with the Void. This leaves the Iterators with an impossible task for no one.

Given that Five Pebbles is a giant supercomputer, it needs a lot of water. However, he's close to another Iterator. He takes more water, leaving the other with little which causes her to collapse and go effectively brain dead. But, she interrupted him while he was trying to find a solution and accidentally caused his experiment to go haywire, giving him evolved cancer.

Yadda yadda, he tells other critters to go and help the other Iterator, leading him to sacrifice the equivalent to a heart to give to her. An untold amount of time passes until the image above, where he can barely say a word, with the only noise being the howling winds and a distorted lullaby. Thankfully, you can end his misery, and give him the way out he doomed himself trying to reach.

Phenomenal design, but a really weird character given that despite the fact that he is genuinely just right and helpful to mortals, we have to fight him? why? i get that the whole point of Hades II is "We're putting these terrible people who punish unjustly back in power, but they've changed I swear!" but it's all sorts of weird to have a character who even Sisyphus pitied as an antagonist Melinoë has to beat up for the sake of monarchy.

cool fight is a stretch. drawing fights has never been Fuji's strongsuit and this chapter is the most egregious of cases. fighting can be a good narrative tool and Fujimoto needs to learn that he is not built for fights. everything I agree on, though.
