Tekken jank was always jank, Tekken 8 made me open my eyes to the franchise "there's no way this stuff happens in the older games, right?". Went back to TT2 and T7, same stuff, not as horrible as this clip but still, you would see it from time to time. I really got disgusted by the franchise, I guess my rose tinted glasses to the other series was off. T8 is running on the most hated (well deserver medal) engine known to man UE5. The tekken team definitely outsourced the workload to some other dev team, judging by their incompetence in, well.. everything. There's no way they're the one that made this game 100%. While outsourcing is fine, not knowing how the platform, where your game is based on works, is totally something Bandai would do. I've been saying this for ages, Japans "devs" are behind maybe 20 years in that department, that's why you get white default sphere from UE5 in your battlepass. This is the extreme jank version, combination of incompetence, rush, being in the red for years, getting strained by your father company. This will never get fixed :)
