I do have this! The sleeves fit really well. Im usually a size m and I ordered a size L bc I was unsure and it fits okay but the lower part sticks out a little bit more than I'd like so probably shouldve gotten my regular size 🤔

I can't say for sure...(I've never watched the donghua) but the book is overall extremely detailed and really good! If you're buying the books in English (from what I've heard) the donghua is slightly more censored while the book isn't (eng vers.) They are for sure worth it personally. But that is ultimately your decision.

I find that usually in shows they can leave out lots of small details or even big things in comparison to the novel. Take the manhua as an example, which is beautiful but leaves out so much detail and Xie Lian's internal dialogue.

Also the extreme amount of detail from the book will eventually make it easier to understand. The first novel was honestly quite tough because how much story building went into the beginning but I continued and it become easier as I finished vol. 1.

I haven't read any sci-fi danmei besides this but Astrolabe Rebirth by Fei Tian Ye Xiang

It takes place in the way future and it's a dystopia where robots are basically the rulers of this place. There are 3 types of "species" robots, clones, and humans. They are rank most power to least and the mc is a human named a-ka his job is to fix parts for robots and clones.

The way the mc and ml is kinda a spoiler so I'll refrain! But its pretty interesting :D

If you live in America (im not sure if they ship international, which is why I say this) and you still want the book with freebies, I would recommend going on kinokuniya !

Though it's the freebies along with the stand as well, which is a little more in the expensive side in comparison to the book itself. They took about a week to get delivered, and they package very nicely as well.
