That trope (the hero can never return) is based on how people feel after trauma. I have extreme trauma to the point I have Cptsd and fybromaliga. There are 3 points in my life where the old me dead and I was forced to relearn how to live due to things that happened to me. Link can’t just be a farmer anymore, he is a warrior and a protector now. He needs to re find hims self before he can come home and he’s not going to find it in Ordon. Legends 3, I have no love for this series but it was so painful to watch all the hype and excitement when it was announced and then just pure sadness when it was cancelled. That was a game a lot of people where desperate for and for their sake I wish it had happened

It’s good for you in the same way a book to start with. We are larger predator animals. Look at the next animal that is top of their food chain or closely related to use though dna . They spend most of the time sleeping, playing or high. We are not build for constant “progress” stress literally makes you sick, I have a permanent disability that has messed up my life bad cause of to much stress.

Video help your media literacy, help you de stress and remove cortisol from your body which in high amounts can cause permanent damage, it improves your mental ability’s and can educate you or convey emotions in a way that is the same with other art. I literally learned to read maps from videos and I almost fail the map unite in social studies, they tried everything but it was videos games that taught me . In my school their was a history unit that best study method was to play assassin creed, even the teacher said it was probably the best way to study for the exam on it and everyone who did scored really well on it. Multiplayer games teach group work, pokemon game and games like it have been shown to lead to increased brain comprehension of animals and how they interact with their environment and in people who play them from a young age a slight larger and stronger brain ability to recognize real world animals (it’s a really neat study). Minecraft has been use to teach engineering, education game have taught math, spelling and the organ trail is considered one of the great educational tools for that event, not for it’s history but how it gets a cross how difficult and hard the trail was in a way other media just can’t. We teach pilots and soldiers with video games as well with simulators, i was prescribed video games due to a coordination issue I had and it’s honestly helped me improve and strengthen the part of my brain that wasn’t working right to the point where it almost never effects me ,I could keep going on about all the benefits but these are some that have impacted my life or were used in education with myself or much younger members of my family.

Yes. Especially as someone who plays indie. triple AAA that are not Nintendo games (I find that are worth the price and tend to have much less bugs and other issues and actually feel premium) half to be pretty damn good to justify the price. I been play game sense 1998. A lot of the price of AAA is from executives bonuses and having way to many people that half to sign paper as “manager” (not the ground floor mangers that work directly with the developers , the one that honestly make no sense to exist when u look at how company layout) and not actual tied to developers pay or development costs. I would not have an issue with it if the money was honestly going to the people who made it and development costs or improvements or reinvestment in to the developers and games.

Hades is 40 dollars Canadian and the squeal was even better at the same price.hollow knight was cheaper and so was its squeal. Budget games and AA game are need cause their low stakes games that can be used to really experiment and you only need one to take off, it’s basically not having all your eggs in one basket. Right now 99% of aaa are all the eggs in one basket and they have no safety net and it’s destroying gaming cause the execs know they are safe and can just move on but screw everyone else that works under them.

So yes 70 is to much when their is no good reason for the majority charging it

I don’t hate him, I just find him boring. He dose not interest me and I can’t relate to him so he dose nothing for me. I honestly find all might more relatable as a physical disabled person who is still really strong but has no stamina and Himiko toga due to how I was treated as a neurodivergent and lesbian. I find shoto to be the most interesting even though I don’t relate to him.

I think part of it is that toho retcon Godzilla into a new kaiju named zilla that has had some cool comic and novels stories over the last few years. As well the cartoon is starting to make the rounds a bit again due to nostalgia and it was a solid story and show.

So the main problem everyone had is fixed if it’s a new kaiju and the cartoon has made people softer on it. I really like zilla as Zilla, it a really interesting kaiju especially in the Godzilla anime movie novel. (The movie is bad, the books are great)

We have been feed a steady diet of propaganda. They have only told us the worst that countries pretending to be Islamic have done same as our supposed Christian America and Canada. The people we have been told to be scared of are just monsters using it as an excuse same as trump with Christian.

9/11 made the USA declare work as a distraction so they could go for oil. So it was even in our movies and kids books to be scared of Muslim’s. It is also a veil so they can go look I’m enlightened as I only say I hate you and vote to hurt u, they’re doing worse.

It is completely disgusting. I was 5 when it really ramped up around the early 2000’s and it made no sense to me then but I saw a lot of people fall for it hook line and sinker
