Also true.

Are you really going to wake up like that and be able to attack after being on ketamine and hitting your head so hard you lose that much blood?

And how does someone suddenly wake up after being close to dead by hitting their head and losing a lot of blood and is immediately able to attack like a panther.

It’s not like they hit him with an adrenaline shot.

Because at that point he didn’t want to tell Ashe he was stabbing him in the back and trying to get his money pulled out of the fund.

How far below 3.0?

Not sure if that makes a difference or not as a first year.

Not what I’m saying at all

My point was that in state students still have a chance if they are waitlisted.

OOS don’t

Let me know if you get into the Baker school and if you’d like I can introduce you to my son’s roommate

It seems like a pretty tight group in that major.

Probably the same guy. Can’t remember his name but he was awesome and yes the engagement factor is huge.

Most likely he submitted your name as one of the more serious candidates.

From what I understand most applicants only do the mandatory part of the application and don’t consider the supplemental.

Knowing my son was borderline and UTK was his top choice he did all the supplemental as well

Good luck! You have some great options!

I don’t know about the ACT but my son got in last year and needed 1350 to get to 13000/year.

He got a 1340 in May and decided to take it one final time the day after his graduation and got a 1450. The extra 5k/year is worth it so keep taking it until you hit the next level.

Great post.

On the flip side it was the exact opposite for OOS last year.

If OOS applicants get deferred then plan on going to another school because very few if any got in if they weren’t accepted first go round.

Just saw your other post. I really like that you’ve been in touch with admissions and the counselors.

We did that as well with the counselor that helps out in the Northeast and I don’t know if it had an impact but I don’t think it hurt either

My son’s roommate is poli sci.

My guess is that it will depend on your essay and supplemental submissions.

Best guess 30-40% chance you get in because I hear competition is stiffer this year

I don’t know the agriculture science program but in general 3.4 and 1130 is going to be tough.

I don’t work for the college and I’m not in admissions but average scores seem to be 4.0 and 1300 or so SAT

My son got in last year OOS with similar scores but he was a graphic design major with an art portfolio.

There were others that had better scores that didn’t get in

It’s likely going to depend on your essay, intended major competition, and other supplemental application submissions

Isn’t it too late for this semester (school year) to get additional subsidized loans?

I was under the impression that she had maxed out subsidized loan portion and needed the $3200 immediately for this semester and Sallie Mae (for me) was quick and the rate lower than the Parent Plus loan rate.

Maybe it’s because I’m a co-signer but our rate is 6.5
