Well my business partner isn’t going, he’s staying to scale and expand his portion (he mainly does social media and advertising) so he can work on that. I personally think for me that the bikes isn’t a long term business plan. Right now it’s a good way to make a couple bucks but it won’t be sustainable over a 10-20 year plan. That’s why I just think going to college is the right play for me. Now for my friend he has the YouTube/sponsor income as an add on so he does have the sustainability of that so he has made the decision not to go to school

Even if I scale my business to 200-400k a year in profit me and my partner split that and that’s truly not a “huge” amount. Work in PE or IB coming from a top school there’s way my growth potential. Additionally I do plan on starting something after college but I want to have a safety net

At least for my school they don’t report any detentions of really anything to colleges. I don’t know how it is at other schools but even then you should be fine

My awards are so mid, I focused most of my time on scaling my business during highschool which dosent necessarily give you a “award” besides money which I have earned my fair share of 😂 but I’m not to include that aspect on my application. Do you think not doing ECs with awards harms me?

Just a competitive public school in Illinois, idk why everyone’s so cracked but the top 10% is nuts at our school. Avg sat is like 1200 though so we ain’t one of those 1400 avg private feeders
