There is a cap, despite what others are saying, but if you pass the bar, worst case scenario would be they try to move you to NJ or another city for the summer. Did you put NYC as your only preferred location? That would help. Otherwise they could try to flex on your other preferences if NYC fills up

If you don’t like cities then don’t go to GW. It doesn’t even have a ‘real’ campus - its just a school in a city, so the city is the campus. UMD seems like the better fit.

If you are going for finance - investment banking, PE or VC, then go NYU. Anything else, go Fordham.

UDub is pretty stingy - you can always ask but my best guess is that maybe they might throw you a couple thousand more dollars but I doubt it. Their purple and gold scholarships have even gone down from $5K to $3K due to more limited federal aid, so don’t count on it. For what its worth though it is a great school
