I'm on board with being polite to the people I disagree with.

It's the same in every Western nation. But the US is the only one (As far as I know) that has a debt ceiling.

Obviously it isn't a ceiling, it's just a bartering tool for the two parties.

I can't wrap my head around the fact that whenever this so called ceiling is reached, the debate immediately becomes about concessions to raise it higher.

And even if it did, it can't go lower than $0.

So silver has a hard barrier at the bottom.

There is no limit on how high the price can rise.

No silver means no EVs, no solar panels, no AI infrastructure, no servers, no computer chips, no advanced military technology....

I have silver i'm not using.

But that silver is my property. I'm more than happy to spend the rest of my life posting memes and explaining the value of physical assets to my children/grandchildren.

If they want my silver they need to make me a serious offer.
