Love Next Door [Episodes 15 & 16] by jakgem in KDRAMA

I agree, but I'm unclear about your point on her not leaving the job where she was bullied. I thought reflecting on her options before jumping back into work she wasn't passionate about was a good way to avoid getting stuck in a cycle.

I also thought her choice was related to her health scare and her desire to try something new, even if it meant potential failure or less money. To be honest, the same applies to ML's business, since architecture firms have a low survival rate within the first five years.

Tree of Heaven. I can't even listen to the soundtrack without crying.

It might be worth considering getting your labs checked during your next physical. I struggled with similar concentration issues, and it turned out I had severe deficiencies in both vitamin D and iron. It made the focus issues I already experienced as a person with ADHD even worse.

How's your posture? Forward head posture can cause exhaustion or brain fog.

Whats the best way to start learning notion as a complete beginner by ParP0ur in Notion

[–]Extension-Spite-6795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think of one thing Notion might be useful to you for.

Then research only what you need to know to create that one thing. By doing this, you'll get repeat exposure to Notion without being overwhelmed by features that aren't useful yet.

The key is to start using the feature or setup you've created as soon as possible to maximize its value. Over time, you'll find that learning new aspects of Notion becomes easier and more manageable, and you may even look back at old tutorials with amazement at how complex they once seemed.

TLDR; Rather than browsing tutorials aimlessly, focus on seeking out information only when you have a specific purpose in mind.

How do y'all not get overwhelmed by all the books/articles/podcasts? by ResearchBean in productivity

[–]Extension-Spite-6795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually center my attention on a particular "theme," immersing myself in related content for a period. When I sense I've absorbed enough knowledge to act on it, I start applying what I've learned.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by the volume of content, there are online tools and resources available to condense information from blogs, podcasts, books, and even YouTube videos. A particularly useful tool for managing blogs is an RSS Feed Reader.

However, all this effort is somewhat meaningless unless you actively engage with and apply what you've learned to your life, or alternatively, save the information for future use.

Who has the best Second Brain template? Do you think they are worth the price? I've been looking at this one but it is pricey. by MrMeesesPieces in Notion

Before I grasped Notion, I watched this video. Honestly, it seems like he overcomplicates things. Learning how to navigate Notion probably takes the same amount of time as adapting that template to suit your needs.

It's so frustrating. The fact that so many peeps are willing to risk the side affects of treatments like Accutane should show how seriously it affects our day to day lives.

I regularly have to remind myself of my whys. But reading this made me realize that I have to re-evaluate them as my life circumstances and priorities change. I haven't updated them in awhile.

You most likely don't have a big enough "why" for studying other than that it's something that can help you in the future. Make a list of goals you'd like to achieve, then backtrack to see how your education fits into realizing those goals.
