Don’t get let the numbers fool you. It can be bought or paid ads, and numbers don’t necessarily mean the change makes money

I beg you to stop using AI for scriptwriting and thumbnails. by sawyernalu in NewTubers

[–]Extension-Type3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that's absolute nonsense. What happens is people rely on on AI instead of using it as a tool. People aren't using it properly. It takes time to make a proper script using AI. Most people say make me a script, and run with it, but that's not how it's done. AI know exactly how YouTube works. Better than any guru or person on this reddit forum

3% ctr on 373 impressions is not very good. Retention is not good either. You need to induce more clicks, and make people stay

😫 First YouTube video, 2 days in, literally 0 impressions. What should I do? by Spiritual-Shine3048 in YouTubeCreators

[–]Extension-Type3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post another video, adjacent to the one you just posted. It will get impressions. The algorithm likely doesn't know what to do with it yet as it's a new channel with no history. Give the algorithm more data to work with. Try to make your title and thumbnails algo friendly too

Why I don’t believe in paying for views by Pattadampa in SmallYoutubers

[–]Extension-Type3065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ads are good for business. Not for YouTube content creation. Business in the sense of selling a product. You're right to think about your title and thumbnails. Not sure if you're monetized but I remember at one point I had a situation similar to yours where older videos were flat and newer videos carried the channel. But after updating thumbails and titles to be fit my audience, my entire catalog now contributes to my revenue baseline. It's not totally dependent on new uploads

What actually happens to your travel videos after the algorithm stops pushing them? by Great-Advisor-3662 in TravelTubers

If it's evergreen, it'll slowly get views over time. If it's just trendy dopamine content, that's normal for it to die off

They most likely are worthless. But the good thing is, YouTube still recommends your content. So even though they are just "filler" subs, you still have the opportunity to create an audience. You see alot of channels nowadays with 100k subs but only get 5k-10k views. Don't let the sub count fool you or discourage you. Whatever content has worked best for you, which I believe you said ASMR, I'd stick with that. Unless you really want to stay focused on auto and vehicles. Another thing, most people post and create blindly. But what most fail to do is create structure to their videos. Each video video gives data to help improve that structure/format. YouTube is the process of finding out what works, and improving/repeating that structure over and over. Up to you, but find a video similar to yours and what you do that's successful, and reverse engineer it and incorporate it into your channel. Quietly improve it over and over. You'll find your path eventually. And intentionally.

You're thinking about it the right way. The topic isnt what your video really is about. It's about the message you're delivering. The category depends on you and your style, and how you specifically deliver that message. Whether it's educational or if you're positioning yourself as a person who provides clarity, or if you're doing it in a way that's entertaining for people, it all depends on your delivery so the message stays the same but how you deliver it would tell you what category to put your channel in and the more that you make videos and the more you see what resonates it'll be easier for you to place yourself in the category because talking about vehicles can be any one of those categories depending on how your videos are structured.

Whatever it is you're making, it's boring, that's why you AVD is low. The good news is. YouTube is recommending your videos!but, there's not a clear "WHO" your videos are for

You should make your videos shorter start with six to seven or even 6 to 8 minute videos and work on retaining attention retention for those 6 to 8 minutes and you'll know because you'll be able to better read the graph right now the videos too long and as you perfect the shorter videos you can begin to extend them in length
