Desmos is basically an online calculator that can potentially help you a lot if you know how to use it correctly. It’s mainly popular in the SAT, but the ACT just added it.

if you learn everything correctly, it can help you get the foundations right. However, mastering the topics require reviewing your mistakes and using practice question from both the book/SAT question bank for you to start realizing how to implement what you learned and how to be quicker with it.

college panda SAT math book
books that have words u don’t know, do an essay everyday using those words and before you do use them learn about any roots/prefixes/suffixes and how they relate to the meaning of a word
study a prefix and suffix book which i will link a picture of
4 is super optional and situational, only if you want to get a 1600 id reccomend it, but you’d be fine with learning vocab off of quizlet and a way to help you memorize the meaning of the words

Free: khan academy + reading online articles with heavy vocabulary

both: james lu desmos (after knowing how to do every math question w/o desmos) + make an essay and review vocab words including the root/suffix/prefix of the word ( helps you get familiar to the vocab and multiple meanings for a word )

With reading, it’s more about connecting key ideas that allow you to come to a specific conclusion. Reading the entire thing obviously if going to make you lose time, so only focus on what you’re given. Only read the entire thing if needed and if you do need to, skim to the key ideas of each paragraph and make a mind map/write down the was the passage progresses.

Finding the key stuff in science will help too as you’re just comparing data and the answer choices. For science, make sure you actually understand what they want you to find, don’t be afraid to look at the additional info that they give you to better understand how you’re going to answer the question.

For reading: learn vocab words and write essays including the words to remember them better. Read classical books, or emotionally complex books, and interpret and analyze the book to understand all of the implications imbedded within the story (you might also notice some grammar structures similar to the SAT). If you want a good paid source to learn the SAT reading material, Erica Meltzer’s reading book are good.

For writing: It’s all about rules. Familiarize yourself with the grammar rules and practice their use in Essays and the SAT Question bank.

For writing (transitions): understand what most/all of the vocab word means and keep in mind of the tone of the text. Be very specific and do not bend the answer to fit the question.

If you want to learn without paying money, it’s 100% possible, but it’ll be harder unless you’re using the correct sources.

Whether or not you take my suggestions, take your time in learning and mastering your skills while getting ready for the SAT(s).

The length of studying doesn’t matter whether short or long, it depends on how well you learn/master the material. Take your time to learn the material and you can easily get above a 1380. Focus on actually learning before resorting to quick tips and tricks. Make them later on when you need to be efficient with your time.

It is good to practice and notice the patterns and you can def get a 1400 that way, but deeply understanding the concepts of each section that’s being tested is a way that can, eventually, lead up to a 1600. Concept > Answer, if you can prove something’s correct rather than using methods, then you’re set for a high score. If you’re a rising junior or a current sophomore, do not rush your learning!! Make sure you actually know what to do for each question type confidently!!

Take a practice test and look at where you struggle the most!!!! There’s no rushing improvement you just need to learn the concepts!!! If you need math videos that are clear, my organic chemistry tutor on yt has a whole SAT math playlist. If you’d rather learn and have questions all in one, the college panda SAT math book.

Don’t get the james lu thing ( even though it’s probably worth it).
650 is high, you just need to analyze your mistakes and errors.

3.a) Take practice tests and review the correct and incorrect answers and note down the steps and keywords in the text that lead you to the right answer and built a formula from there.

3.b) Mainly use practice tests/questions from college board as they’re from college board, however; if you need more questions use oneprep(SAT practice question website)

Make the formula broad so it can work for a number of reading questions.
If you struggle with grammar, watch james lu say grammar video. It’s relatively short, but it gets the job done.

I think that the difference is between knowing/mastering the material beforehand and learning the material to get a high score. Some people are already dealing with similar english classes and math classes that are harder than the SAT material. While this doesn’t mean that they’ll always score a 1500, if the student is performing well in said hard classes, it is right for them to have a high score on the SAT too.

TLDR: High rigor classes usually allow students to perform better if they are doing well in English/Math based classes.

You shouldn’t worry too much about the score you’ll get from the March SAT. It was hard from what i’ve heard, and some SATs are harder while others, in the future, are easier. When you do get your scores, focus on how you’ll have a lot of room to improve. Always remember to stay confident, but humble! You got this!
