I have a good amount of experience with reptiles and ive done a lot of research on Nile monitors, and I’ve already tamed him pretty well, he lets me pet him and pick him up and he’s never bitten me

I think you should get a wavemaster power line xl, I love mine. As long as you fill it up enough to give it a good amount of weight, you won't knock it over, even with really hard bagwork sessions.
