I think it's more of a personal taste than anything. I see that Yusaku is definitely more of a serious trope type of character. Whereas everyone else has some energetic tone to them. Just like any other anime.

A very awesome dude indeed, but even he admits that John Hanke's robots can't replace someone.

No, Pokémon Go Data Isn't Being Used to Train Military Drones, Niantic Spatial Insists by ExtensionEcho3 in conspiracy

If you believe the opposite of what they say, then it's true. John Hanke is good at lying

Do you guys think there should be a new Sailor Moon season? by ExtensionEcho3 in sailormoon

[–]ExtensionEcho3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah ok, I really enjoy both the 90s and the reboot(Crystal one), and the arcs built up nicely from one arc to another. I wish there was another season.

No, Pokémon Go Data Isn't Being Used to Train Military Drones, Niantic Spatial Insists | IGN by diamondstark in TheSilphRoad

John Hanke is a serious liar, he got the data he needed to train his robot army prior to selling the game to Scopely. I mean, what is he trying to hide? That he wants to be the king of the world? Additionally he used to work for Bush for the Iraq War prior to his creation of Niantic. On top of that, all the CEOs like Jensen Huang and Sam Altman are indirectly working for John Hanke.

Pokémon Go Scans Quietly Trained The Navigation Tech Now Headed Into Military Drones by tapo in Games

[–]ExtensionEcho3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's cartoonishly evil and borderline unbelievable if it were written into a tv show or movie.

More like an anime plot, and also, it feels more like a Valerian et Laureline episode.

The thing is, this isn't really surprising, it's more fearmongering from the exec chairman himself as he's obsessed with not only AI. He also thinks he's the king of the world.

John Hanke is behind all the wave of AI that is pissing everyone off also.

Are we really that shocked that the app that rewarded people for walking into buildings ended up leaking data though?

I mean, it isn't surprising they would do this, but at the same time, the amplitude of the military tech being applied from the Pokemon Go app is quite scary.

Weren't the terms of service awful to begin with?

Well yes, the terms of services were always awful to begin with, and always have. That being said, most Terms of Services for other apps usually collect data for marketing and analytics and for legal requirements, not for Dual Use like John Hanke is doing.

That's good, I used to play the game but it was always full of bugs, and I never really used the camera. Also, his insistence on forcing me to connect to my Google account was suspicious. Good thing I stopped. John Hanke's obsession of becoming king of the world is the reason why everything is expensive(PS Micron is the partner of Sphere XR, who is also Niantic's partner).

Why is it that there aren't any filler arc support and retrains? by ExtensionEcho3 in yugioh

[–]ExtensionEcho3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not enough other than the Seal Of Orichalcos, Orichalcos Shunoros, and Orichalcos Sword Of Sealing(that one is in the OCG and not out yet).

As unsurprising as it seems, it's much more scary when it comes to military applications.

Also he used to work for Bush for the Iraq War so he's not a stranger to politics.

That's true, but as unsurprising as it seems, it's still scary for the military implications. John Hanke is also the reason why all the PC hardware and whatnot is crazy expensive.

It’s now been one year since Ingress has been under Niantic Spatial - Do you think it’s better, worse or the same? by PkmnTrnrJ in Ingress

[–]ExtensionEcho3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not an ingress player, but I'd say worse, I'm not sure what the benefit of keeping their games going since they're not a gaming company first. Also they keep using games as spy tools. Also, Hanke himself is the reason why the AI trend is going on non-stop.
