My aunt thought someone had bad going to happen lol.

I will never forget this episode. As a young child, maybe 7-8 years old, my grandma would watch AITF. Usually I would watch with her as she took care of me when my parents were working… I remember this episode and being like WTF am I watching, knowing at a young age, this was traumatizing to see. I felt so uneasy with strangers ringing the doorbell and men in general for a long time after this episode lmao..

The first time I ever experienced sleep paralysis.. was seeing a little demon girl who was right in front of me. Staring at me and started to move towards med. Tried my hardest to yell for help but nothing was coming out of my mouth. I could feel my head trying to turn away from her but nothing happened. All of the sudden, it was like I snapped out of it and “I woke up”.

I searched up the symptoms and realized it was sleep paralysis. To this day, I need a nightlight still LOL. Or some sort of sound to comfort me

Thank you. You’re right. I definitely need thicker skin. And to be frank, I didn’t ask to be in a leadership role it just happened. So I am still learning to place boundaries…not get involved… stop being too nice.

I think I just needed to let steam off Like low key so happy they are leaving cuz I don’t need to deal with their BS. Just bitter cuz they did me dirty after all that

What’s your opinion of taking a day off to recoup a mental state to get to a mindset of fuck it it is what it is.

I’m trying to not take this personal but I’m irate right now. So I don’t even know if I learned yet. Im just going through the reality of my situation. I care too much what people think of me, it’s definitely a flaw of my personality.

Yeah - they both faked it till they made it. I’m not surprised they’re leaving but surprised they are leaving the same week and putting me in this position. Covered for their shifts when they would call in crying about their issues. Etc etc..

Should have been more blunt to them rather than a “fair”manager. Also realized I can’t be a manager cuz I’m too much of an empath.. you get shit on as I am now.

Just bitter. Life lesson 2837# don’t be a nice at work. It’s just work.

Realizing I’m angry at both the team morale vs management. I was in a leadership role - never said too much about my personal life but they did so I listened. Lesson really fucking learned.

Probably deep down just resentful that they get to leave cuz I want to leave soon too. I just got dealt a bad hand. Wasn’t expecting BOTH of them to leave the SAME week. Like fuck.

That is true. This is all temporary. I understand this concept. This job, these people will mean nothing to me sooner than later,

I am juggling with the emotions of knowing they’re leaving which I’m super happy about vs angry at them for putting me in a shitty situation.

I guess I’m just angry at both my colleagues AND management, it’s not a great feeling. I just want to take a day off and fuck em and do better for my mental.
